As a nurse I wondered in my studies why we had the highest rate of majority of diseases in the medical books compared to every race. I don’t think it’s about coincidence but the things we ate contribute a lot that. I’m not sure how some comments below say that we had high nutritional value food when the same foods are the things that are the reason we are having high blood pressure, high cholesterol, fatty liver, various types heart diseases…. We did this because we needed to survive not because we wanted to eat these things. Some of these foods were definitely not our cultural foods and pork is definitely not a clean animal and never has been. We are the promise and they have tried to rid us of our right to a healthy life by traditions they stuck on us long ago. We still eat some of these things knowing they aren’t good for us.
