The government has been corrupt for over 100 years. It started with buying elections. Creating the ponzi scheme known as social security and coming off of the gold standard allowed the federal reserve and the us governemnet to have a chest full of monopoly money. Then politicians can offer anything they weant to voters with no consequence. I don't htink it will ever be fixed. We need term limits, a balanced budget amendment, privitized social security and a retunr to the gold standard. And I'm 100% certain I'll never see any of those in my lifetime.

The FED is beholden to US law, right? New dollars can only come into existence by lending out newly created dollars in exchange for interest, right? Here's the solution then: as the person in charge if the financial decisions of the US government, go to the FED and nicely ask them to forgive any direct debt that wouldn't cause human debtors to suffer any losses. Tell them that everyone would profit from this move in the end. Now the FED can elect to forgive said federal debt and all of a sudden, the problem becomes way smaller.

sure inflation can make repaying debt easier...BUT money that is not debt becomes worth less! So by devaluing money(inflating it), it makes the debt "smaller" in comparison BUT the value of the money people have is lost and will not buy as much, with it. Another way the government spends our money by making our money worth less to pay for the money they all ready spent(borrowed money). A crazy way to run things!❤

If the USA government keeps on deficit spending , how can the debt be inflated away if it grows faster then the rate of inflation???
@luckylag360Сағат бұрын
Production reduces inflation and increases tax revenue. Therefore if you were able to print the money necessary to increase production to the point that the tax revenue became more than the operations of government you’d reduce the debt.
@quantum7145Сағат бұрын
inflation decreases the current nation debt, inflation helps pay debt faster by increase in income tax but not when you have a "federal reserves " that kills "TAX BOOMS", The federal reserve plan is to wipe out the federal reserve dollar then make a "new one"

Yes I can see how this works. But the truth is the people at the top end never suffer, whereas the people at the bottom end suffer and die. So piss the government off, because they are not helping their own citizens, and the people at the bottom end are many many more than the top end. Government liars, thieves and cheats.

4:55 if the elite paid the same percentage as the rest of us, we wouldn't even need to make a video about this OR if we stopped handing foreign countries TRILLIONS of dollars each year OR we cut all welfare TO IMMIGRANTS all of this would generated TRILLIONS AND SAVE TRILLIONS each year.... in less than 10 years we would have a positive bank account

Regardless. The most important thing to back a currency is it's military. Germany had 7 currency swaps in the last 100 years. The Ukrainian Hryvnia doesn’t exist anymore. Taiwan dollar can end the moment China invades. North Korea can tank the Yen and Won. The US dollar on the other hand is backed by the most powerful military in human history.

We need to do away with Income Tax and have a 7 to 8% VAT/Sles Tax. That way everybody in this country that earns and or spend money will pay, not just the 48% who actually file a return !!! I have travel to many countries in both Europe, ASia, Middle East, South America. Most countries have VAT/Sales tax, not income tax!!😊

Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.
@harmanlapointeСағат бұрын
People believe their currency has the worth it does because they have no other option. Even in a hyperinflationary environment, individuals must continue to use their hyperinflationary currency since they likely have minimal access to other currencies or gold/silver coins.
@SofiawillamsСағат бұрын
Inflation is gradually going to become part of us and due to that fact any money you keep in cash or in a low-interest account declines in value each year. Investing is the only way to make your money grow and unless you have an exceptionally high income, investing is the only way most people will ever have enough money to retire.

All of the billions of dollars going towards war or the fact those in congress are allowed 6 figure paychecks coupled with insider trading to short our economy. 😂 I mean the list goes on..
