My red flag is thinking I could do something this impressive so easily. Also it is insanely impress that this is one of your first videos, because it has the exact same feel as the Blacktail Studio table guy. Amazing work

What slicer did you use?

I would suggest using a thermoplastic to cover the foam. Something like warbla would work well and elevate all the problems you have with the spackle. It's more expensive, but it's definitely worth it.

How did you make the top rim I am trying to make it out of eva but I am hard stuck.
@makermeditations2 ай бұрын
Tbh I think I just eyeballed it. I used "gores" to make the helmet so you could maybe make an extra one, trace the curve it makes onto another piece of eva then just mirror the curve to make a complete arch. idk if that makes any sense at all 😅

This is such a charming video! My cats will either sit on top of the freezer to watch menacingly, or loaf on the rug I have by the counter, just barely avoiding being stepped on (we have the spacing down to an art).

I think the dislike for the tray might be the metallic tin. I know that one of out cats had a problem with peeing in one corner of our basement rather than their box. We cured the problem by covering the floor in that corner with aluminum foil. Apparently cats really hate the stuff, and don't want to go anywhere near it. Is the Altoids tin made of aluminum, by chance?

I mean, wow. I first saw your cat video, and was shocked when I came to your channel and saw how new it is. I mean, you're really good. I'm not even really into dinsosaurs and I watched this whole video. Perfect balance of crafts and...handiness? The things I don't know how to do. You're funny, calm, informative, and honest. Easy subscribe from me and I can't wait to see what else you do!

tbh even when cats eat out of their dinner bowl, they still do the thing where they take the food out and eat on the floor. Maybe our assumption that cats like eating out of bowls is all wrong. Has anyone tried make a wide, flat dish for cats? That might be more ergonomic for our feline friends.
@makermeditations3 ай бұрын
I think you're right. When cat's whiskers hit the edges of a food bowl frequently it can cause something called "whisker stress" and it can get so bad that the cat stops eating due to pain. All of the dishes we use are either super shallow or really wide to avoid this. To your point, whenever you go to the store to buy a food dish, it's basically a bowl. So I think there is room for a more thoughtful product there.

Please pet your kitty’s soft little forehead and tell her that she is the best for me, and can’t wait to see more of your videos.

@makermeditations3 ай бұрын
I'm seeing several people mention this and it makes me realize that I never made the intention of the tray clear when I called it a counter top. She was just meant to put her paws up there but she didn't like doing that either. This is great feedback to think about regardless since you're definitely not the first or only person to mention these things. Thank you!!
@Kserks963 ай бұрын
@@makermeditations in retrospect I think that little tray would never work as intended. Cats prefer to sit or lay and when they stretch their paws up its usually to grab your attention.
