I can’t find any videos for my 1920h, just like a Sunstar, but it has a shaft with a drilled hollow for a long 5/8 bolt. I think my slaver goes first and not last like yours.

I'm shocked. After replacing literally hundreds of broken blend doors, it's not that difficult to pull dash back and not cutting plenum and dash. And by they way, the blend door and actuator have nothing to do with floor/vent/defrost control. That's the mode door actuator that controls the mode.
@cliftonevans
@cliftonevans 3 ай бұрын
That is exactly what I was taking. At the end, talking about mode selection not hot/cold blend. Yet he replaces the the hot/cold blend door, or at least he removes the elect. Hot/cold blend door actuator, which leads me to trhink that's the door he replaced, but he never actually showed it. The mode is controlled by two vacuum operated actuators mounted on the driver side of the housing. Kind of perplexing… Would you kindly provide some insight realfixes?

Hi, would love to put gator blades on my Husqvarna Z 248F, butOregon says they don’t have blades for that. As long as they’re 5-stars for a 48” deck, does it matter? Would appreciate your opinion.

I'm gunna be doing this myself soon😁 I'm going from a Honda deck to another Honda deck. Friend brought me a Honda with the tein cut blade set up, just like the one i use for majority of my mowing, however the motor has no compression. Found another Honda mower with single balde deck, & no bagger option, on local F.B. market place. Same motor. Now not only will i have 2 matching Hondas that discharge, bag or mulch, I will also have parts😇😁

At 01:24 you say "I will be cleaning off this deck...." Dude, it would have been drastically easier & quicker IF you had cleaned the deck BEFORE installing the blades. Just like it's easier to take a shower without clothes on instead of getting dressed first. You also don't even mention whether the bolts are left-hand threaded or right-hand. Unloosen clockwise or counterclockwise.

Hello. You video was helpfull but I still have a strange problem. When the mower starts ,it will run ok but as soon as you move or push it, it goes full throttle. Is it possessed? I think so! I have never seen this problem before, and I:m old. lol

It may have been easier and safer cleaning the underside of the deck before reinstalling the new blades while the worn ones were off.

I have a Bolens cheapie but other than the weak motor, I love it because it's so light and maneuverable. So, I took a Honda engine off a Craftsman and put it on the Bolens deck. Got everything working except for one, now obvious, problem. The drive shaft is about 1.5" too long. I would try to cut it with the grinder and a couple of wheels but I can't get access to it to cut at a right angle. I could cut it but it wouldn't be square. Can't really raise the motor because there was already a 1/4" gap I had to seal. ANy workarounds I'm missing?
