Informative video. I am thinking about getting the update so that i can link my computer and phone. Though currently I can answer my phone and sen text via my laptop so is there really a big difference?

I agree with you that many of the functions you might frequently use can be done via desktop or laptop. These include email, texting, FaceTime etc. I like what they said in the Keynote during WWDC24 "Sometimes your phone is across the room in a bag and you don't want to get up to get it" or something to that effect. Overall I think it's a very nice feature.
