Halo Online was created as an F2P for Russia, given their niche PC community. A group of modders took a port of the game and gave it American and European servers. The Dewrito team has been continuously modifying it to be easier to use and more compatible with modern PC features. Being worked on by modders, it has a good modding community around it. The official Halo Online was shut down after being on hold for a few years. This game is still running well and the shut down of the main game hasn't really affected it. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of people who know about this. I will put a guide in the description to download it if you are interested.

That is going to take a looooong time if that ever happens. This is a small modding team using the remains of an abandoned project. They're making good progress, but they aren't a AAA company.

Well that IS what I meant lol. People seem to not want to play it simply because it isn't a professional company or some nonsense. It is still great given the circumstances.

It is pretty dang fun for me, and once you get used to the weirdness of mouse and keyboard on Halo, as well as the weird ui interface, it it just as fun as on xbox. The only downside is that there aren't as many people on it, one of those reasons being that it is being further developed by a small mod team. Bob Plays No problem man, Keep it Up! I agree though this is one of the best things that I've seen in halo in quite a long time, halo 5's fun, but its still not quite up there as a great halo game. This I've had a hell of a time playing it :)
