Thank you for your postings! I attended a day camp with my young son and boy oh boy! There were MANY opportunities there and we left early and did not attended the last day. Thank you for your insight and realizing a lot of camps can be exempt from state oversight. In our state camps are suppose to still file for exemption and notify the parents- which was not done and would have tipped me off sooner in what to really scrutinize.

Counselor applications for the camp I want to work at open in January, it will be my first time being one (if i get in). Last summer was my last year as a camper, so I was trying to pay attention to what would be expected of the counselors. This video is super helpful in showing me what to expect!

I signed up to be a leader at church camp for the first time this summer and your tips are really helpful. Thank you for starting a channel especially for all us newbies out there! As for depression, I totally can relate. I was for years. God definitely without a shadow of a doubt pulled me out. I actually moved to another state and all those doors started opening up that only He could. There is hope and and light at the end of every dark tunnel. I will pray for you in all of this. God has gone before us all and knows our struggles. I will also will pray for healing for your back. I too, had spinal surgery and have a rod in my back and my lower spine fused because of my scoliosis. Backs are no joke. He will get you through :-). He got me through as He always does. One great Father! God bless!🕊️

Howard, you are so right. I have Grandkids that have been going to Gregory for years. Gregory was fun before you and Froggy took over but WOW in just a couple of years you two made it amazing. I remember the uproar over Color Wars. It was my daughter that you worked with to get the T-Shirts printed for color wars. Her boss was beside himself when he spent $450 on T-Shirts that were never used. When you said you were returning as a volunteer the kids were really excited but when the camp reversed that decision they were upset. Due to you two not returning and the behavior of the director the last couple of years they are going to another camp.

I agree, I've worked at camps that do the same programs year after year.

IMPORTANT!!!! IMPORTANT!!! IMPORTANT!!!! IMPORTANT!!! Now that I have a few videos posted I want to get subs. When I get 50 subs I'm going to have a drawing for a full size, handmade tshirt quilt. This quilt is made of over 30 tshirts from camps all over the US that I worked at. When I get 100 subs I'm going to give away a magical camp jacket. This jacket can only be worn at camp. If you wore it anywhere else you may be put away. It's crazy colorful and guaranteed to get your campers attention whenever worn. Lets get these subs, I'm excited to see the winners expression for both gifts. Please tell you friends to subscribe like and share. Being disabled i have nothing but time. If i can answer any parent questions or help your camp PLEASE leave some comments
