If I as an advertiser/marketer am based in the UK, but I promote/advertise a product that is manufactured in the USA and can only be bought in the USA (and other markets that do not include the UK). Should I abide by USA regulations or UK regulations with regards to advertising? In other words does the country of origin of the person or company marketing a product impact which countries regulations need to be abided by?
