Great tutorial, but shame on Autodesk to make the feature that is literally a major feature designed for hobbyist usage (prismatic conversion) locked with that stupid expensive signature plan without at least a option to buy just that feature extension alone.

cant believe you need these workarounds instead of fusion just letting you project or 3d project centre of gravity...

Thanks, good idea. I've tried it, works fine. I like to advice to make the sketch in the TOP view, which is the same as 2D drawings use

Damn, this works so well you'd think they'd implement it as an actual feature.

I'd call that more of a hidden feature than a workaround. I can imagine that being incredibly useful! Thank You

Great tutorial. I have been looking for this for a long time. I must admit I don't fully understand it and how it would work on a "More" complicated STL file. But I will experiment. Thank you for providing this technique.

Have you ever run into a case like this where the handles for mapping the points just don't show up? That's what I've hit here, and I cannot figure out what is going on. Fusion's lofting appears to break down entirely when attempting to deal with non-planar components. (Frankly, a great deal of Fusion's tooling appears to break down when trying to do anything non-planar, but that's a separate discussion.)

Thank you. Is it possible to drag a subassembly so that all subcomponents drag/move together? A design I am working on has several components with subcomponents. I would like to be able to control whether I am dragging the lowest level component vs. the higher level component.
