There was no invasion at the Rio Grande. It was Mexican soldiers killed within the Mexican border

Although this was the last battle of the American Revolution, it was not the cause of the end of theRevolution. In his report to the Continental Congress following the victory, General Washington cautioned against excessive celebration as the American cause was in dire financial straits. Luckily, the British were also struggling with the financial costs of the war. And it was a shift in their political leadership in London that led the British to sue for peace. While the United States was victorious in the American Revolution, we did not defeat the British military. We “outlasted” them.

Presently, our Supreme Court seems to be a bit "political". It's gotten way worse since their "Citizens United" decision in January 2010. It was bad then. Now it's to the point where politicians should be required to wear patches (ala race car drivers) identifying their corporate sponsors.

Not really the reason why france lost new france. The actual reason was who was the first one to bring troops and resources? It was the British.

But when they are all bribed in compromised, there is no check or Balance. We need another branch of government and lottery of the people. Just like jury duty where people of all walks of life are randomly selected to participate in a 600 member body wear whatever the president Congress or the Senate approves Hass to pass through the lottery.

Though we had visited Lexington Common & various sites on a school field trip when I was a kid, I didn't assume or assign myself foreknowledge of Battle Road before visiting it, as my stalkers would portray my style. On the contrary, I sat down the night before with some take-out & wrote down each significant moment location-wise & sequence-wise. Example from my notebook: "1 mile out [from Concord]. Smith puts out flanking detachments, but must pull them in to cross a bridge..." Then the next day I walked it, from Meriam's Corner down into Lexington & all the way back. This is a nice video. Lovely to see uploads about such important event in history. I would say the Lexington Militia definitely didn't fire the first shot. However, there is a strong possibility a rogue colonist did, hidden off to the side. It's ultimately unknown, but because of this, I would hesitate to say the British fired first. Much respect to the humanity & valor of both sides.

The British soldiers did not randomly begin firing at the colonists during the Boston Massacre. The colonists were harassing a soldier and he called for help. Someone yelled FIRE and no one know who, so the soldiers began firing. John Adams represented the soldiers because he understood that ALL need a fair trial no matter who you are. This was a terribly sad event, but it was not a massacre. A massacre is a needless killing of unarmed people. The colonists were armed with rocks, snowballs with rocks in them and sticks.
