They have ruined Paisley.
@sunnygovan7Күн бұрын
It was ruined in the mid 60's by town planners. Completely flattened Mill St , Thread St , Bank St and the old police station/prison in Gilmour St and put horrible concrete monstrosities like the Piazza, the Council buildings in Cotton St (flattened again , now housing) and the Bank building across from St.Mirins Cathedral but to name a few..

Looking forward to watching more videos 👏

Be Capri, didn't that use to be the old Fiesta Bar or is that where the Keg is now, same age as you, Paisley nightlife back in the 90's was brilliant, Carnegies, Cotton Club, The Area, Institute, Watsons, Make for the Border 😁

Thanks for this. takes me back to my formative youth. I worked on Sandyford Rd, and travelled through Gilmour street Monday to Friday for work. Used to go into the town for our lunch and shop at Cowan's Mans shop on the high street. Used to drink in the Watermill, on the weekend, and the Glynhill and the Arkleston at lunchtime at times. Pie beans and chips and a pint, was the order of the day ;-) Live in western Canada now, and I'm retired, but love getting back for a visit. Have a great Christmas.
