I’m sorry you went through that in the Netherlands. Never ever do any fertility tests in the Netherlands. I was told their research of fertility is extremely low. The doctors barely attend conferences or do any update to date research based on fertility. I’m so glad you shared your experience. Thank you for not giving up. Also congratulations!

I started the journey and I’m debating whether to do IUI or IVF I am good candidate for both but I have very low egg reserve and I researched that it might not be successful, I’m also scared to just jump to ivf without trying IUI. I literally cried coz I know exactly what you were going through. Can you please tell me what antibody test you did? I am going through IVF and this is my 5th cycle. I make beautiful embryos but they dont result in pregnancy. My uterus is healthy and I have no issues. Cannot find out whats wrong with me. Maybe its the antibodies because I too have a little high TSH level. I would highly appreciate if you reply please

@sarah - about the antibody issue.. is it because you had negative blood (like a negative / b negative ) and your partner had positive ? we have been trying for 3 years and not yet successful. all reports are good but no pregnancy. i have a-negative blood and my husband has a positive .

This is the most beautiful IVF story I've ever watched to this date. I am so amazed at your perseverance and determination. You are a very strong woman. Salute! My husband and I are also trying after our miscarriage last year. Due to my age we need to do IVF. I am preparing my body for it. Hopefully and prayerfully we'll become successful as the doctor told us we only have a 5% chance of becoming pregnant. l had 2 rounds of IVF.Conceived both times but miscarriage both.First at 7 weeks & second at 10 weeks.In first ultrasound heartbeat was detected but a week behind.l found out my thyroid was 4.1 in first trimister.Fertility clinic did not put me on meds despite the levels being high.Kept saying its within range.l went to GP in 6 weeks pregnancy & was prescribed thyroxine.Had a second scan 8 weeks & was told good news fetus is growing although week behind but sadly at 9 weeks there was no heartbeat.I sent the tissue for testing at lab.They keeps saying chromosome issue but my heart dont believe that.l feel l lost my second pregnancy due to thyroid issues.Will find out soon

The way women have to advocate for basic care is insane. I had the same gut feeling and was told to wait when it was found that I had enormous fibroids (so much so that my stomach was very swollen). After a year they grew so much that I needed an open myomectomy. Finally starting ivf bc I’m not wasting anymore time since I have waited long enough and probably could’ve avoided such an invasive surgery if action would’ve been taken sooner. So happy that you found a doctor to help you!!❤

@7:19 what kind of treatment protocol is that?!!! Shooting ur self hormones for iui and only for two eggs ? For that we typically take clomid or letrzole .. the injections are for egg retrieval and ivf !
