The instructions state you should lie with the zip on the right side of your body. It's about the asymmetry. Instruktionerna anger att du ska ligga med dragkedjan på höger sida av kroppen. Det handlar om asymmetrin.

The zoom ring on the NEO10R is so tight that you need both hands to adjust it. With gloves on it is difficult to adjust it at all in fact. This was way better on the older models like the SEO5 for example. The light switch should be a little bigger and more tactile (not so round and smooth) so that you could feel where it is and operate it with gloves on. The light beam is not as evenly distributed as it was on older models. Feels like led lenser has lowered their aim a bit. Other than that, the light is bright and fits quite well around the head.

Try slow and low heat....cook some oil in pan for a couple minutes before putting in food. Butter does not work good in this pan....use oil.

I preseason my pans before I use them and things slide out of the pan easily. Check out the other sites that show you how to preseason your stainless steel pan. Also, make sure you give it time to heat up before cooking. There is a test called the "mercury" test where when the pan gets hot enough, a droplet of water will stick to itself and skate around the pan. Look that up also. Good luck!

*I'm sending free p4 back to them. It does not operate as smooth or as easy as they claimed it would. The pliers aren't spring assisted. It weighs alot. I'm happier with my older broken in leatherman. I don't feel like this was worth the $139 I spent.*

Way too expensive for a 420HC steel blade tool. Costs 200 € in Germany. Insane. For way less you get the surge, which has replaceable saw and file blades and bits. Or you can get the Charge + with 154CM steel blade. Until the price goes down to 150 € max, this is totally overpriced.

It looks like Leatherman has finally learned the lesson against Victorinox: - In the SwissTool you can access to all the tools without opening the pliers. - In the SwissTool, as all the tools are accessible externally (without opening the pliers), there's only one type of locking system mechanism vs two different types on the classic Leathermans (one for the outside tools and another one located in a different place for the inside tools), what makes the design of the SwissTool much simpler, easier and efficient. - The SwissTool already has precise "clicks" when opening / closing not only the pliers, but also each of the tools. There's no need for using magnets, the design and engineering on the SwissTool is at such level that the precission and accuracy is absolute. When you close the handles you can hear and feel a strong "click" system that remain the handles very securely and tightly closed, not friction based like on the Leathermans. Besides, not only when closing the handles, but also when closing each of the tools, the last milimiters (half centimeter or so at the end) are being closed automatically, no need for pushing them, they just fully close at the end of the run without any effort by themselves thanks to the action of the springs, completely effortless (automatic closing of each of the tools, including the handles, at the end of their way). - Morover, in the SwissTool there's a half way "click" when opening both handles that let you use the ruler (inch and cm) completely flat and secured, what is much easier and much more convenient, aside of much more precise. - In the SwissTool each time you open any tool, including the pliers, there's no friction at all between them, so the pliers remain free once opened (you don't have to press the handles with your fingers to open and close them, there's no stiffness at all, they move freely) and no one of the other tools drag any of the others when opening them. The movement is absolutely smooth, precise, accurate and friction free. - I have big doubts about the quality of the steel on the Leathermans (hardness and especially rust resistance) and where its steel comes from, but I can attest about the super good quality of the steel used on the SwissTool. - Yet the price of the SwissTool in Europe is much lower than the Leathermans! If the new Leatherman Free has just incorporated these features, what I ignore, then it has simply reached (I'm not saying surpassed) the level of the Victorinox SwissTool, which has been the reference go-to model so far for years and years in terms of hi-tec efficient design, ease of use, quality of materials, refinement, fit & finish, smoothness, precision and accuracy. I own the Leatherman Surge, the Leatherman Charge TTI, the Leatherman Wing and two models of the Victorinox SwissTool and, while I still love the Leathermans and they possibly look even more appealing to the eye (visual design: more military or tactical look), although I also love the minimalistic style of the SwissTool as well, but once you use them all you quickly realize how SUPERB the Swiss is and that the smoothness, refinement, fit & finish and precision of the SwissTool stays just at another level, far beyond, it just plays in a different league, unbeaten so far. Don't get me wrong, the Leathermans are not bad by any means, in fact they are good, very good indeed, even great, but the SwissTool is just better, the best and most refined of the bunch.
