Password ia set for reasons in system, System Password is used to lock whole system and it stops unauthorised use. If BIOS Password ia set, it locks only locks and stops BIOS setting to be changed by unauthorised person, some BIOS also support HDD Password to lock Harddisk drive. This passowrd locks Harddisk drive totally and could not be used by unauthorised person on any system. And if you forgot Harddisk Password you cannot use it untill ita unlocked.

I work only on Laser printers. If tou are using EPSON Laser printer or any laser printer I can decide about exact problem after watching printed page. Generally blak lines appear when PCR is short.

Look for a sensor at back rear (back side), may be broken or not working properly, may be broken part attachs to sensor.

@ibrahimarfi2713 Where fuaer section gears attach, check for those gears function. If printer makea a noise, lubricate theae gears and make their moment free especially swing gear.

Piece of foam is used in solenoid by companies, which expires after years of use and becomes sticky. I cleaned that foam and removed expired one. Instead of using foam I installed transparent adhesive tape ( you can use any adhesive tape which doesn't causes stickness).

Sorry for responding too much late. Fairly I have not faced such problem. But I will help whatever I can. If you are familiar with repair jobs then do it otherwise I will not recommend. Remove motherboard and clean it gently with brush. Look for Super IO Chip (QSOP - Quad Small Outline Pin), ITE, Winbond, Novoton, etc. and clean its pin contacts with thinner and apply gentle heat to resold contacts. Remove Processor heat sink and carefully remove processor from socket if necessary, again apply thinner (cleaner) with brush gently and reinstall processor, Apply thermal paste and then heat sink ( clean heat sink fins to clear air passage ). Now turn it on, If these method doesn't work, try replacing processor if possible. ( In some motherboard processor is embedded ( Soldered on motherboard ). I hope it should work. If it doesn't work, visit hardware repair technician.

If only toner light is on and printer doesn't start and doesn't initialize there may be formatter error. Try it again and again by turning if on and off again and again. If printer doesn't initialize but indication changes, this is also formatter error.

@@mharon939 On/Off button is used to turn it off completely.

Because different brands of toner powder are available in market and we refill without wasting toner powder already in Refill chamber of toner cartridge. Always waste toner which is left. Second reason in some printer's scanner is tuned to make printing more darker (mostly used to print on tracing papers by printing press), in these printers this fault is also seen, because sometime it exceeds level of charging.

I don't agree with you. I have repaired gear's broken fitting successfully, which I presented. This type of repair works extremely good if repaired with good material. A week has passed but yet no complaint is received about this printer.
