Excellent! My Moen kitchen faucet has been leaking for a year now - it's prob 10-15 yrs old but still looks brand new. Someone told me i'd have to buy a new one, and that you couldn't just put in new gaskets (as I remembered my dad doing decades ago). Glad to know it can be fixed! TY for your easy to follow video!

This is a nice idea but it puts a lot of stress onto the tips of the ski and might cause deformation due to creep (strain due to long term stress). Might be better to make a horizontal rack.

New well point is $50-$60. Depending on how often you need to clean it, replacing it may be cheaper and less labor intensive.

I’m planning a combined garage and garden bin build, including doing all the Groundworks so found your video incredibly helpful. Absolutely no surprises on your experience with contractors and this is the very reason why I’m doing as much of it myself as possible but I will be contracting for the cement pool and just hope I can find that rare combination of quality reliability and integrity…

Is this legal to use on homes inside town? I sow them use this while visiting a secluded town population around 10,000 Yet now I live in a place around 70,000 population with no burning debrey laws. Wonder if this could be a exception?

I love it when the old methods of getting the job done work better than inferior expensive store-bought solutions that require more time and energy. Thank you for the education and your easy to understand delivery of the methods! 5x ⭐️

I was a Coppersmith in the shipyards. I used fine steel wool to clean off the old solder after sweating off the old copper joints. It saves a lot of time because you don't have to use emery cloth to cleanup of dirty contaminated solder. Also, if you don't have steel wool you can get the pipe hot and use a wet rag and wipe the hot solder off the copper pipe. It's even easier than using steel wool and less clean up also. Some guys don't have steel wool and it saves a trip to the store this way. Just be careful and use leather gloves while doing this.

All my lights are working, brake, hazard and L & R turn signals, but the running lights don’t work. I’ve checked the wiring and the fuses and have run a cat and mouse tester on that one wire and it runs complete up to the fuse box. This is a 2003 Ford Ranger. Any help would be appreciated

Can you put a stain into the linseed oil for a different look? Thinking of Red Color!
@mudden
@mudden 2 ай бұрын
Great guide! Thank you for the video. I have done this on my car, an old Land Rover that I drive in Sweden. I use cold pressed raw linseed oil instead, not boiled. Raw linseed oil is a bit thinner than boiled and can be applied as it is on a warm day. However, it takes a much longer time to dry out, at least a couple of days. You can also mix the linseed oil with graphite powder to get a darker coating. I haven't tried that though.

This is very informative! When it comes to wiring trailer lights though, I cut the "Y" harness, clean through, and install Deutsch (DT) connectors at every light. This way, when I go to replace a burned out light, I only have to crimp one side of the wire and I don't have to worry about replacing (and re-routing) a whole new wire. Even if I have to replace lights frequently, because of this connector, the length of my original wire stays the same length, as I'm only replacing the short amount of wire leading to the light itself. I admit, it is more expensive, but on the positive, you don't have to spend $75 and 4 hours in your garage when something goes wrong. Lastly, if you buy Hopkins trailer brake lights, replace those disgusting, mushroom cap, cheap steel bolts with stainless steel, hex head bolts (1/4"-20 - 1.25" length). Can we PLEASE put an end to the "guuud enuuff" people!?!?!?!
