Does not feel like a feature, just a missed detail from the devs. In my opinion, it is kinda counterintuitive to see someone standing on the fire and not get burned.
@RoflkoCs2 ай бұрын
@@kyojin336 100% agreed. It doesn’t make sense in a game like counter strike that you can stand in fire with both feet and not take damage. It is not like you are standing in the smk and peeking your head out to see, you can literally have both of your feet in the fire and not take damage.
@oggy62542 ай бұрын
not a bug, it is a feature included by devs to stand at thee edge of smoke and not get burned
@RoflkoCs2 ай бұрын
I feel like standing at the edge of the smoke, while still being a bit grey screened is one thing…. But having both of your feet in the Molotov without burning is another. Surely that part isn’t intended?

Does breaking the smoke with the HE temporarily stop the edge exploit?
@RoflkoCs2 ай бұрын

I understand the aspect of being at the edge of a smoke and not burning as a feature and I like it. But being able to stand in the Molotov a couple of feet out from the smoke with both of your feet in the fire without taking damage is surely not an intended feature? Playing off angles like Zywoo did in these examples only works if you are 110 % confident. If he misses the first 1-2 bullets, his surprise off angle becomes a huge disadvantage because he can't get into cover. Don't neccessarily copy that, folks.
@RoflkoCs3 ай бұрын
I get your point, however Zywoo is intentionally taking that gamble as you must in CS2 sometimes. He wants to take these fights outside therefore is willing to risk a duel. The 1-2 bullet ADV is what he wants. If you miss but you have an ADV to begin with it is what it is sometimes, high risk high reward for the dangerous play.
@RoflkoCs3 ай бұрын
Good feedback though. What did you think about some of the other points?
@captain14323 ай бұрын
@@RoflkoCs I'm aware Zywoo intentionally goes for these small advantages with his off angles, because he can reliably hit his shots. I just wanted to warn your audience that it has a downside as well and for most people it's not worth the risk. Regarding other points: #1 Mobility: Yes, Zywoo freely moves around and switches positions, but when playing in a team environment like he does, that's an exception. He enjoys the freedom to roam around on CT side because he is Vitality's star player and needs to be active rather than playing passive positions. For normal people that means: In a PUG, and if you are feeling it, feel free to roam and switch positions. Otherwise, it helps the team to keep map control and have your teammates worry about less angles. #2 Unhittable and #4 Controls the Chaos are tied together in my opinion. Zywoo's experience and gamesense enable him to keep a cool head and make the right decisions quickly. Nicely pointed out. #3 Misdirection: Well spotted once again, though keeping the enemies guessing about his position is closely connected to his freedom in terms of mobility. An anker player can't utilize this in the same manner. For the viewers: This is for the most part also applicable to PUGs. Something I like to do in my games is to use enemy death cam to mislead my enemies after I killed one. I fake to go towards one direction and hope the guy I killed calls this to his teammates. It doesn't work everytime, but it won me a few rounds already.
@RoflkoCs3 ай бұрын
@@captain1432 I do agree that it is risky to plant yourself on an off-angle and commit fully, I always preach to not do things in absolutes, so this advice is beneficial when people need to get that pick or want to go extra aggressive. Thanks for the feedback on the other sections as well, that was a good point referring to pugs and making it relevant to players there, I appreciate that. And the extra addition talking about the death cam is super beneficial as well, definitely a trick that is extremely useful to play mind games. In terms of the movement it definitely is made easier that Zywoo is in a team so has his freedom set and pre-spoken about, when it comes to players not having as much freedom say in a pug. It could be helpful to just stay mobile and active through using multiple off angles and changing pos in your specific spot like Zywoo does above, I agree you can't always move across the map, but it's a nice example of what things could be like with more freedom and limits set within a team. Thanks for the honest feedback mate, I'm just trying to provide educational and helpful content for people to add extra layers to there game play, your feedback has helped with that so cheers!
@captain14323 ай бұрын
@@RoflkoCs I'm glad you appreciate my feedback that much. Thank you for your answers! Your video was well made and you pointed out a lot of key factors for Zywoo's success, but I don't think players who don't play in team environments can learn a lot from him. He takes huge risks and it only pays off regularly because he is exceptionally gifted and experienced. I'd recommend anyone between Faceit 1-10 to work on fundamentals, because the enemies will inevitably make mistakes which can be easily punished by a good basic understanding of the game. Above 2.5k elo, you may try play more like Zywoo. 😅
