I tried this 4 years ago and will today, just remember not to put all the 3/4 cup water because its actually going to be too runny, if you see the jug like thing he used it was wider at the bottom n probably used half

You can save a lot of time if you soak them overnight. 10 mins in a pressure cooker, temper, add vegetables and you are done.

Totally agree with you. This recipe comes in handy on those days when we forget to soak but want to cook it anyway (I'm one of those who often plan next day meals but forget to soak!)

Thank you for the video. This looks incredibly good and I will give it a try. I do wish you and other presenters would realize that you need to use a small silicone spatula when scraping things out of bowls--especially small bowls. So much gets left behind when you use a spoon or especially a thick wooden spoon! AARGH! It makes my thrifty brain hurt, and I always wonder how your recipes taste with only about 3/4 of the thick ingredients!

Thanks for your feedback and I appreciate you for the valid point you raised. TBH, I don't waste anything. Trust me, I scrape the last bit with a flat spoon, but just don't show the entire process in the video. But spatula is a good idea, and I'll definitely consider it in upcoming videos.

Yes, you are somewhat right! I assume you meant South Indian tadka as I used hing. This dish tastes good with curd rice as well. I would like to know your feedback if you try this dish.

@@FlavoursTreat hing & urad dal. I actually tried it soon as I watched it, for curd rice in afternoon & for phulkas at night. Great for both. I added onions cubed + shallots to make it more like bindi do pyaza.

Lol you have a competitor huh. I'm gonna pick his side I'm afraid. Had an idea, I steam leftover parathas for a min & re toast it, results in softer texture, I might do that with this tortilla, bring back to room temp, make the wrap, refrigerate it and eat it chilled. A rose/badam/pista milk with this would be wonderful.
