It always comes out the sides onto the stove and goes everywhere. I can't get it to not do that. It's literally the most frustrating thing I've ever experienced in my entire life.

If you have the cardboard edge loose like this, nothing is holding down the foil so the popcorn spills out the side. Sometimes the oil catches fire there.

My mom used to make me popcorn in a pan with real butter. I tried this and most comes out burnt or doesnt pop. I tried shakin it like this once and the handle came off and it fell in the gap between the stove and sink counter, making a huge mess.
