USA has a very specific and peculiar definition for “citizen” for tax purposes. It’s NOT the same as you might think. Imho USA is a resident based tax just disguised and is the longest running scam I’m aware of.

@@marcykaren Yeah I absolutely did and I really liked Cayala which has some of the most amazing stuff out there but I just make an overall comparison to both cities and I just preferred the overall way they are modernising San Salvador but it does not mean that Guatemala City isn’t a nice place (I made a video about it as well actually)

Lovely country. Very beautiful. Friendly people. Belize has British-like laws as it was once a colony. The problem: Massive corruption. Invest at your own risk, just dont expect relief from the courts or police when things go wrong. John McAfee was a former resident. Go in with your eyes wide open. Definitely check out the murder rate!

Of course it's not all safe and beautiful but compared to places in Latin America where I've been I believe it is a pretty good option with limited risk when it comes to the amount of money you need to invest
