I’m not sure it’s original. I have the F87w, exactly the same and it is not Made in Thailand and doesn’t have this green color light coming from the lates F91w. Something anachronical is not told here...

Thanks 4 your video 🙂 at 12:31 Where you open the J-52 its is seen, that there is no "Rubber Conductive" inserts to activate the two front buttons. I have a SW-110, with similar case and frame, witch is not working, And I suspected that I have lost the inserts, but looking at your video, is seems there are non installed. Also you are not installing any "conductive things" when putting the watch back together at 22:45. I have tested min out of the case, and they work, but its as if they do not reach the contact when pressing. Any thoughts, with your expertise?

I was looking at vintage catalogs and i think it's one of the best looking resin model. I wish casio had an official online database with good pictures of all models ever made. The F-700 and W-28 (with the blue outline) among other also grabbed my attention. They should re-make them ("Made in japan") and make money :)

I inherited a Casio 95QS-31 from my father and changed the battery successfully. Unfortunately I cannot close the backcap. Are there any additional clips necessary? I have found only two springs. Can I close the cap just with a closing tool ? Thank You for help.

Just found it now. Thanks for the informative video. I got the watch from my father. He wore it for a few years and then it sat in a drawer for years. I changed the battery and it started working immediately. It looks very elegant but it's not my style. Setting up the "computer" is very difficult. I didn't manage to do it. @@donkokaj7272 Hi, in principle, I could sell the watch because I don't wear it. Before it ends up in a drawer for years. I'm not sure whether the mini computer works properly. I can't operate it.

I bought a used A159W 593 module, but there is no sound. Did i miss that spring? I opened it but i don't see any place where it is supposed to be. And I don't see any nylon isolation cover so the metal cover of the battery don't touch the back cover of the watch. So do I missing the spring or the nylon battery cover? Back cover has that metal disk used for alarm glued correctly on it.

I will answer my question, in case someone has the same no sound problem like me. My A159W model with the newer version of 593 module inside, it didn't had any spring. It was just that white nylon isolating piece that i was missing, and this was the reason that i didn't had sound. I put a piece of insulating tape on it, to cover the left and right extension of the battery cover, leaving only the top extended part of the battery cover and the bottom extended part of the module touching the back case of the watch, and now it works fine! So anything nylon, or cellophane, or a piece of a vinyl glove (you probably have some of those laying around from the covid era) will work. And by now that i am thinking of it, maybe i should have used something with less glue than the insulating tape...

I've just put a new battery in my F-85 for the first time since the original battery stopped working in the 90's at some point and it works perfectly! 🤩 I need to fit a new strap though as the original one disintegrated. Thanks for the review. I think I paid the princely sum of £20 for mine back in the 80's.
