Looks like mould on your medium might want to switch to smalller 1" starter cubes or even smaller cones and then fill the basket with expanded clay pellets the medium does not need to be wet once the roots touch water.

Great insight. I did notice when I used the smaller ones, it didn't have the green mold in them...at least not like this. This is the last of the larger pods. I'll be using the smaller ones from here on out.

What other benefits does garlic do? Apart from being a good seasoning for food
@thefarmingnutritionist47023 күн бұрын
@ajokeadejumo7990 I'm not sure if you're asking about the benefits of growing it or for the body, so I'll answer both. 😊 Garlic improves the growth of broccoli, and it accumulates sulfur, which helps to prevent fungus from overtaking other plants. In the body, garlic is medicinal. It helps to boost the immune system, improve gut health, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, and helps to prevent disease.

Garlic likes the cold this is not unusual. Garlic can withstand winter temperatures as low as -30°F (-35°C) when planted properly
@thefarmingnutritionist470216 күн бұрын
That's awesome to know! No wonder it makes a great winter crop. I thought the clove I planted was a goner. As I always say, sometimes it's a delayed crop. :)

Nice!! Being that I'm new in this zone, I'm also learning that the growing season pretty much starts in September/October. My tomatoes didn't make it much past the seedling stage.

Great video❤ The kale was under stress during transplant.😮 To avoid this try transplanting early morning or evening when the sun rays are not as strong.
@thefarmingnutritionist47027 ай бұрын
It was very early in the morning when I transplanted. Here in AZ this time of year, I would advise to do it in the evening. Because even in the morning, it's not enough time for any plant to get adjusted and it's already 80 degrees by the time it's 7 am. Lesson learned. 🫡

Keep it watered and give it a little shade while it is getting used to its new home.
@thefarmingnutritionist47028 ай бұрын
Absolutely. I just notice people tend to worry when their plants wilt thinking they do something wrong. Just sharing with them it's normal while it adjusts to it's new environment. It was shaded an hour later. I did a video on that.😊

So I orginally posted a comment that was sort of harsh but then went on to your profile and realized you're young, my mistake. I used vegan butter, almond (plant-based) milk, and dark chocolate (in its original form) is vegan. It's when they use milk and process it is when it becomes non-vegan. I didn't use eggs in the cookie recipe. And even if the recipe requires eggs, I have an egg replacement I used that is plant-based/vegan. I've been eating plant-based/vegan for over two years. I'm a pro at this. ;)

Your soil is dry and mint likes water. Lavander don't like too much water
@thefarmingnutritionist47022 жыл бұрын
I'm aware. I don't water either one. It rained the night prior. That is why you see the moisture in the lavender bin. Interestingly, the surface of the mint looks dry but if you dig underneath it, it's wet. Never judge by appearance.
