I have visited. Today, with the restoration nearing completion, I ask what would Jesus say if he witnessed the church spend €billion euros of donations (no insurance) on stone, glass, carpentry and metal work while millions of little children of your church had no clean water, inadequate food, healthcare and education? Is this how the Roman Catholic church cares for its own children of Manila, Rio, Abidjan, Port Au Prince, Dakar, Bangui and half a hundred others cities where Catholicism was imposed. Do you believe Christ would say to rebuild or would he say help the children?
