Hi! What would be the GCP resources that came more in the exam? I had the exam 3 years ago and remember that there were questions about TF Extended (tf.distribute estrategies and other very specific topics) wondering if the exam is still focused on those topics or has a higher % of Vertex AI questions. Also, if you can share what type of questions are asked related to GenAI /Model Garden/ Agent Builder that would be awesome!! Thanks for sharing!

I just got re-certified and I'd say Vertex AI questions would be around 35%. TFExtended still continues to be asked.

Data Engineer is a specialized role and hence ample knowledge is required but that's not a pre-requisite.

There are plenty of courses and code samples available for you to learn and try out. Secondly, free credits are available on cloud platforms to run these models. Thirdly, it takes time to master.

All these learning activities are provided to support your knowledge and increase confidence. If you do this in everyday life, perhaps a preparation might not even be needed at a deeper level.

Ive been looking at some thrid party gpu serverless providers. I tried replicate today and it was disappointing, it needed one active machine or else the model will go to cold boot in few minutes and the cold boot took lot of time. I came across your video and hoping to try this to see how this works. Im hoping the price to be reasonable

Its not recommended since you don't have a direct experience but you are free to attempt. Experienced ones are usually able to pass them.

It depends on what your career trajectory you'd like to choose. GCP Developer helps you more on the DevOps side while Data Engineering helps you in the data side.

Anthos is not just a tool or a service. Rather its a tech stack. Here the requirement is to build a hybrid cloud solution. So, any alternatives that can compliment the same would suffice. If we look at the latest updates, GKE Enterprise version connected with self-hosted K8s would be suitable for the same.

There was a recent case study that you don't want transcoding in functions. It is more effective to use vms. My company uses vms for video apps. They are just better for it.

Good question! Certifications are like cherries on cake. Cake represents your skills and cherries adds an attraction to it. So, having certifications will give you visibility and advantage over other candidates with the same level of knowledge/skills. Regarding the correct answers, there is no cutoff mark/percent known for these exams. Hence, it's assumed generally to be around 75 to 80%. This would be around 35-40 out of 50 questions.

I have already completed the exam on new guide and here are my preparation - The CloudSkillBoost official learning path is the only right resource I can refer for now. Everything else is not updated. There is zero ML Questions dont give preference to that + Learn about Memorystore, Alloydb, Biglake, Dataplex, and Analytics Hub from the documentation. For sample questions refer to the Official certification page and udemy.

I recommend learning the fundamentals before attempting these exams. Get experience and later try the exams because these certifications will never get you a job.

@@thecloudpilot thanks for response. Getting the experience is the trickiest part. Although I have considerable amount of Java experience but still getting into a Cloud project to get hands on experience in these technologies is becoming difficult. Everyone wants prior cloud experience.
