Love your channel 😍. Can't believe I lived on St Thomas for more than 30 years and only made it over to Water Island a couple of times. But I don't think there was anything going on in those days. If I ever get back that way again, I will certainly look it up. 🌴🥰🎶💃

Wow has that area changed 😮. None of that beachfront was there...70's and 80's.🌴🤭🥰 Everyone is still having a Awesome time ❤ Pretty much only the Backyard, Fred's and Limin Inn back in those days.

I worked at the Crystal Shoppe at Havensight back in 2007&8. Looks like it has even grown up more. No wonder Main Street is a ghost town now. Downtown use to be so much fun back in the days. I also worked at the Greenhouse when it first opened. Called Barney and Fred's Greenhouse. Also Pancheta's, Drake's Inn, Windward Passage and Cuzzin's. Fun times 🌴🤗💃🎶 1974 to 2008.

Wow everything is so grown up since I lived there. I use to manage Cafe Roma and work at Caneel Bay. The place to go at night on Friday and Saturday was Fred's. He would have a local band. Wondering if it's still there or if Fred is still alive. Loved St John and St Thomas. Lived there between 1974 and 2008. 🌴❤️

Yes, I also remember Fred’s. I went there for many of parties and reggae music. I don’t know if he still alive? I generally just go to St. John on my days off. My first year there was 1985. Thanks for watching.

During the 1980s going there on Saturdays from STT as a tween and teen because my dad owned the St. John Pub, it used to feel like a place where real pirates would frequent. I remember eating so many lunches in The Backyard, a real pirate hangout!

We heard it was crazy….we got back on island the day after….and had to deal with occasional power for several days. Definitely scary on a boat. Everyone we talked to said it was the worst lightning they have ever seen.

My favorite place was Hook Line and Sinker when Teddy owned it. I'm sure he has retired by now. We used to work together at Drake's Inn restaurant back in the 70's. HLS was called Quarter Deck back in those days. Was a awesome restaurant also. Good times Awesome memories 🌴🥰

Nope, sorry still no airport on St. John. I’m not sure I’ll ever have one. I don’t think they have a flat area for it. But the new fairies are very fast now. Thanks for watching.😎

By any chance is that the old Betsy's Bar and restaurant? Also I heard Hook Line and Sinker was sold. Use to be called The Quarter Deck back in the days. Was always my favorite spot to eat. Teddy Lutz was the owner. We worked together at Drake's Inn back in the 70's. 🌴🤗 Thanks for the video.

No I’m at the old rum shanty. Unfortunately, the Compass rose went out of business. Too bad I liked it. I think it was a little too upscale for Frenchtown. Betsy’s is now French Quarter Bistro. Basically they didn’t change anything same menu and a lot of same employees. Even Betsy herself works there now and then. Remember famous Tom Day the bartender he’s still there. Hook line and sinker was purchased but appears to be at a standstill. They started construction in never finished. Been a few years now. Too bad. That’s a perfect location. Thanks for watching.

Oh no...🙈😫 Horrified to see what has happened to Emerald Beach. Over run with tourists and vendors. Spent over 30 yrs on St Thomas and went to that beach regularly, even before Emerald Beach was built. Sad...so sad. Also never saw boats parked there. Ugh

Mmmmmm i’ve been coming to Emerald Beach resort since the 80s and not much has changed. In fact, some places are gone now. Beachcomber is deserted. Anyways, thanks for watching.
