Cracking story extremely well acted. Sometimes music is added to avoid copyright issues, but ij this case, just a little towards rh end.

I see it’s taken directly from the TV recording. But the words flashing up are superfluous, they are not needed. 😊

This reading is better because it’s not read by a cuckoo but by a human person. I love our voices. The nuance in human speech cannot be duplicated or simulated.

Shocking but worth the bother. Troubling as people. Disappointed that AI reads it. Such a dead tone. Might as well be one of the Cuckoos.

It was very hard to follow. I thought this was a radio drama, I am totally blind, so I thought it would be explained. Perhaps it’s also a video though the channel it comes from says radio drama. I think it’s a probably really good story, but I could not understand what was happening in between dialogue. 1:20:17

I find putting Dark Mode on helps somewhat or turn the screen contrast, brightness down. I know it's a nuisance but beats not listening. Hope this helped?

@ thank you for your suggestion, I find putting my iPad face down on a hard surface to hide the screen much easier.

This should be called “The Nine Tailors “ but this version is somewhat mangled and the sub titles are mostly nonsensical, if you are deaf I suggest that you read the book.

Some one please tell me; are these the audio part of a real TV episode, or are they readings of the book that are performed in a studio, as an 🎙️ independent product?, m. IL

FYI Music sometimes played during or over small portions of the stream is to avoid copyright infractions or strike s. Without them we'd lose the ability to hear & enjoy these lost gems & treasured works. IMO is a Very small price to pay extra work these great channel creators have to do for Our listening pleasure. So before complaining in these comments if not for that music you'd Not be able to hear these tales for Free. So appreciate all these wonderful channels must endure for US listeners! I myself are Extremely grateful & appreciative, Thank you!

Love David Bamber's acting, so good with a voice to match. But really it's not pronounced " Warley " it's a northern name and it's pro nouced Wolley" notwithstanding the unfortunate association with the southern meaning of a fool etc.
