Thank you for finding this witty & clever play! Such fun, completely captured the era, all the cast are so good- Malcolm Sinclair as Coward & Eleanor Bron as Lorn are brilliant & so well-matched. A very clever script, so many wonderful one-liners that could easily have been Coward's - perfectly timed by MS. If there were other episodes in this series please do upload! Ty! 🎉😂

Eric Ambler was a terrific writer . He could evoke the atmosphere of a place and create memorable characters with a few sentences. Unfortunately Dimitrios here seems more like a pantomime villain than the " Epitome of Evil ". ..? Basically he was a pimp and small time drug dealer and not very bright...Hardly the sort of criminal mastermind who ran a million dollar empire or could change the course of European History.. ?
