Um the fan is making squeaking clanking sound maybe replace the bearings on this fan.

There’s something wrong with this fan it makes a clunking sound and it spins to slow I think the bearings need replacing.

I have seen them before around, Never knew the nickname for it, I knew it was a Heller but no the other name

Mate I'm sorry to say, that wire that broke off the armature of the controller from the transformer, the fan will not run because that wire is needed for the controller to work. Yet cutting off the wire completely, the whole controller is obviously screwed now. I dunno what your dad has done to have wrecked that wire on the transformer, but cutting off that wire is a bad mistake. You got to be very careful touching the internals of these things wiring these things up. They're not meant to be handled the same way 3 speed controllers are handled.

The far back one is wobbly because the ball isn’t lined up with the groove properly so it wobbles in all different directions and makes a ticking sound
