I’m not sure I know the wattmaster do and so do the airflows and the gec fans but I don’t know if these do because I these cogue designs are meant to be decorative fans like the super air

@@RyanFowler-co1xf Ah yeh. Fun fact, Westinghouse took over Simpson. They do put out a bit of noise, the motors they use are the same type of motors known as universal motors you'd find in Vacuum Cleaners, saws and drills.

Occasionally I have had a switch that doesn’t work on a certain speed but that’s usually been with a 3 speed (i’m guessing due to capacitor). It’s interesting learning more about all this from everyone’s videos 🙂

Mate I'm sorry to say, that wire that broke off the armature of the controller from the transformer, the fan will not run because that wire is needed for the controller to work. Yet cutting off the wire completely, the whole controller is obviously screwed now. I dunno what your dad has done to have wrecked that wire on the transformer, but cutting off that wire is a bad mistake. You got to be very careful touching the internals of these things wiring these things up. They're not meant to be handled the same way 3 speed controllers are handled.

Probably you can also go watch the fans in my house video as I put music in it now and this fan is 32 years old and it has issues like the bearing noise it has a little bit of a bad capacitor and I notaced the moter gets hot pretty quickly within an hour of running the moter is hot
