Wool is a fantastic fiber. Regen grazing adds to the value of the wool. Wool makes sturdy and long wearing product. Long term usage of the finished product is critical, slow clothing simply makes real environmental sense.

Knitter here and I wanted to make a comment regarding mohair, it’s so fluffy (it’s basically just a hair halo) so it can’t be spun on its own as a yarn, instead it needs to be spun around another fibre, typically a strong one. In the hand knitting world, mohair is spun around a silk core, which keeps it nice and strong. But if you’re a fashion brand, the best way to keep the price down is to spin it around plastic. Hence the polyamide always being present in mohair garments.

I already got few Polene bags. Last week, I bought new Cyme bag… the quality is not as same as before. 😢 zipper of pouch is not straight (visually poor quality) and some glues stains on the bag. I think the price is not reasonable anymore. Not WORTH IT anymore.

Stretch fobre content is frequently added for crease resistance. Linen with lycra is a god send. Does it stop all the creasing, no. But at least you can put the damn thing on before it starts which you can't with Linen.

Gold vermeil is only 5 times (2.5 microns) thicker compared to gold plated. Gold filled is 5-10 times thicker so a better option. Solid gold will last forever

@@andreacheong_I promise crochet is definitely something that you can learn. It can be difficult depending on the type of patterns you do, and depending on how complex you want to make it. I'm going to be real here. I took a sewing class, and I could not thread the sewing machine, the pressing foot and the thread kept getting tangled together. Still I can crochet, I think learning how to use a sewing machine and sewing straight stitches by hand is incredibly difficult, crocheting is easier to learn to me at least. 😂

LOVE Polène's designs. I can look at a bag from afar and be like "that's Polène" LET'S REMEBER: LV, Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Hermès, Celine, etc. used to once be like Polène. A new brand. In years to come, Polène will be an established brand just like how luxury brands today became established over the years. I'm glad I myself have Polène bags 🤍

I understand you’re trying to support a creator you really like but I was doing this in 2019. This comment is quite hurtful bc before all of it kicked off on TikTok and multiple people adopted this type of analysis, I spent years researching and speaking out about this topic. Please consider being kinder when you don’t know the whole story.
