For anyone thinking of retiring in Argentina these prices are not current and way off. You have to at least double of what is suggested for instance Mar Del Plata is said to cost approx USD700 x month, that is if you rent a shack in a shanty town and still would not be enough. More like USD 1,600 x month or more. If you want to live comfortably budget USD 2,500 to USD 3,000 x month.

Balboa has a housing crisis, Barcelona is overrun by tourist so badly,the natives are spraying them with waterguns. Valencia just had a major atmospheric river disaster .Malaga and most of the coast has a water crisis. These mentioned figures are not real it is so much more expensive. 2.500US$ a month in Marbella?Give me a break. If Americans can't affort to live in their own homeland (richest country in the world) they should not deplete Spains precious resources and that goes fo rany other foreigners.

This is outdated. Argentina is now very expensive. Food is more than Europe or USA. Transport, health care, etc have soared. It's no longer a bargain.

Do not go to argentina. It is not worth it why? because it is expensive. I just came from visiting argentina. A coffee and a sweet cost between 5 to 8 us dollars A meal cost 10 to 15 dollars in an ordinary restaurant. I think colombia, Ecuador and Peru are much cheaper. All the videos about cost analysis in Argentina are wrong..

I really tried to love this video, and the info is useful, but Oh why choose that truly terrible way of photo transition? The sudden ultra high speed zoom to swap photos is a migraine-inducing nightmare. Such a shame to ruin what would be a really useful video, but I couldn't watch it all.

So what do you think is a realistic lower end cost of living for a couple to rent a one bedroom apartment (not a studio) in Buenos Aires - maybe going out to dinner or lunch a couple times a week in a medium priced restaurant? And what would be the rent in the next best city in Argentina (fully furnished incl. utilities and internet)? Just a 'guestimate'? Thanks!

In the video, as either she or the robot is talking about Antigua, there are several shots of large bodies of water. I don't recall seeing any of that either on Google maps, or when I was there. Therefore I disliked this video. The costs sound about right, from my experience, but I would not trust the visuals to be anywhere close to the narrative.

I subscribed to this channel a week or so ago trying to find a new place to see international content about places I can go when I retire. The channel I've been watching for multiple years has gone to crap. So I came here. It seems new. Thought maybe new ideas would be a good idea. But you're using fake narrators. It sounds like or at least people who have no clue how to say words and worse. Yet you're forcing us to watch captions. There are captions built into KZbin. Please stop. For those of us who actually want to see the content. It's very distracting. I 100% give a automatic thumbs down to any video like that and a lot of other people do too
