that looks really good for a 1st effort Alan, i'm gonna have to have a go myself sometime now.

It‘s not a Sd.Kfz. 234. With a little artistic licence, this Sd.Kfz.233/Frankenstein might be considered a one-off frontline repair shop modification of a Sd.Kfz.233 Kanonen-Wagen, replacing the short 7.5 cm L/24 StuK 37 with a long 7.5 cm Pak 40 anti-tank gun. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmjdlmmoZc1-hc0

You made the best out of a not very accurate kit. The figures and added stowage definitely elevates the display. Awesomeness. Bill

nice! I have one of these in my stash, its a little bit of a special kit to me as it was the first ever matchbox kit I built, sometime around 73/74!

On a Lancaster would there be such heavy deposits of engine exhaust deposits over the top of the wing ?? The exhaust is lower than the wing and gasses directed downwards, and therefore gasses and dirt would (I assume) pass under the wing

Wowsers m8 good to see this model in its finished form. I have this exact model in unmade form apart from putting the axles in🤪 that I bought 45 years ago as a 14 year old. I still have quite a few unmade from that era. Airfix Matchbox all 1/72 your video just struck a sentimental chord with me m8. I just subbed your channel keep up the good work👍❤️

I like the simplicity of the models. No stupidly overdone weathering, clean models on an basic display ground. That's it, and that's good. Well done. Great looking vehicles.

I have had trouble with the Tamiya canopies also. I also have this thing in my head that Airfix is the go to for Spitfires. They were still flying them when Airfix and Humbrol were getting started or at least there were still plenty of people around who knew what the real ones looked like up close.
@Alan_Saund_Models4 ай бұрын
👍 You can get 2 Airfix Spitfire's for the price of one Tamiya they have pilots and the option for raised under carriage
