Every so often I come back to this video to remind myself how astonishingly fine a singing actress Lisa Brescia is. She just joined the cast of DEAR EVAN HANSEN so she is back on Broadway for those who want a chance to see and hear her perform. <3

Totally love The Woman in White. Saw Ruthin Henshall who was amazing. And yes this performance is stunning. Such a shame the show wasn't given a chance. Probably the last of Lloyd Webber good shows xx

Lisa Brescia is so insanely talented, it takes my breath away.

One of the best voices broadway has to offer. Her voice is absolutely gorgeous. She could sing anything and I would listen. She's so powerful.

A favor to ask of the youtube Wicked community... There was a video of Carmen from Boston (I'm almost positive) that was BRILLIANT, but got taken down. It was shot from the far left side of the theatre, and in the mezzanine. If anyone managed to nab this video before it was removed, PLEASE message me.

The clapping when she goes up varies by show/town I guess. When I saw her in Chicago, there was a little, but not alot. When I saw Donna, nothing. I clapped but then stopped since no one else did. :-/ Maybe it's cause it's at such a tiny theater in Wisconsin.

Sweet. Thanks for the info! I saw her in Wicked on my very first trip to Broadway! She was awesome! Why on earth does she keep getting understudy role though? She should be a lead in EVERYTHING role she does!

to clarify ; wicked opened in chicago like 4 months after it opned in newyork starring , ana gasteyer : elphaba (who was also in saturday night live for 6 years) kate reinders : glinda kristoffer cusick : fiyero heidi kettering : nessarose . i saw the show twice in the first month of it opening in chicago heidi went to bway and kristoffer went to san fransico they both came back to chicago with when dee and annaleigh came back, and thats who i saw in january right before the show closed
