This was a truly sad story of ego. You can even see it now with the current members. Stephan clearly sees himself as above all the others, not equal.

Just got back from their concert in Roger’s, AR - with Yellowcard (They were so dam. Good) Jenkins made a poor joke about his guitarist looking more like Harry Potter than the actual Harry Potter guy… the guitarist didn’t even acknowledge SF and looked somewhat disgusted with him for his comment. Also, Stephan Jenkins didn’t even acknowledge any of the other bands tonight… Yellowcard was extremely gracious, humble and just extremely Down to earth. They kicked ass!

In the process of diving into Kevin's solo work. I've heard 3EB deep cuts and demos throughout the years, but I was really so shocked after finishing "12 NIghts in Studio A". It's so apparent that Kevin's sound and the 3EB debut are exclusive to each other. Even in 2003/2004 well after the recording of the debut, this track especially, has the same essence and feel of that album like it followed him around on his shoulders and in his hands. Dude was definitely a catalyst for something.
