never knew that the dev that makes hunting games made a game like this. kinda fascinating. the death sounds they make sound hilarious

I was working on trying to figure out this game and discovered it might have some similarity in controls with a later TechnoSoft game - Kōtetsu Reiiki Steeldom. I played for a bit as the crab and figured out you can command throw by inputting Up, Down, Up, Boost. I tried some other inputs for moves from Steeldom on the crab but that throw was the only hit I got. I'm sure there may be others for other characters.

World Racing 2 was originally a PC game with a popular modding scene that continues to be strong to this day. Critically, it did not fare well in America (the Xbox version saw release there) but fared decently in Europe. Škoda had a exclusive demo for this game featuring their latest Octavia at the time, which can be downloaded on the Internet or can be used on a Škoda CD that featured it and Need for Speed: Most Wanted as playable demos.

I loved this programme as a kid! I've played the ps2 version loads too and there's a lot of new questions and clips i've never seen every time I play it. Lots of replay value if you're of a certain age bracket in the UK. I'm 41, there's loads of older stuff from the 1960s and 1970s in there that you would only get if you were around then or born in the early 80s. There was a LOT of old shows repeated on telly when I was growing up. It was the norm to watch older stuff back then, mainly because it was the only shit on half the time. So this game tends to jog my memory sometimes and it makes me remember utterly random details that I probably absorbed when I was a toddler or something haha!

1 thing that really carries ace combat was the music being awesome but this does not seem to have any

Ngl I enjoyed this game for some reasons despite being the gameplay inferior version of Senran Kagura, I wish they should bring back the 3D aesthetic and add more content when you play as Oboro and Eva or the legacy weapon skins from the Z2 Chaos like Kagura dual Katana.

FYI, the long-haired girl with sword is Matsuri, and functions as the tank for the trio. The pig-tailed girl is "Ouleen", a bare-handed combatant with access to special skills like a monk. The remaining short-haired girl with glasses and flute is Ayane and functions as the magic user.

this game is mediocre but it does have its interesting aspects and its not as bad as others hack and slash games in the simple series. i agree the cover art in PAL is ugly and does not suit this game at all lol

I looked at the box arts. The European version is a lot worse. But im pretty sure that the Japanese version is a still taken from Initial D. They might not have had the rights to distribute that image internationally.

Prefer Onechanbara anyday than Senran Kagura if the series had more bigger budget in the first place

I haven't played this game in over at elast 20 years so I have a very vague memory of it, like I said a friend of mine had it and I played on his copy of the game but I never owned it. It was cool to see some gameplay of it though but it sucks to hear that you didn't have a great time with it. I'm feeling you on the KZbin burnout, I'm currently going through the same thing, I feel like the community spirit has dwindled for me in some ways and the fulfilment I'm getting from making videos has flatlined. I have videos planned for next year but in 2026 my channel is going to become yet another fossil on this platform. I've kinda had enough with it to be honest but I can't say that I'm quitting KZbin because never say never, there may be something that makes me want to go back but I have no intention of doing so as of right now. All I will say is that I'm in the process of making what will probably the last fully edited video I will ever do right now and I kinda want to end things off with that.

It's like those mahjong games with hot chicks you can find on MAME, with simplified rules, and without the naughtiest bits. The giggly boobs can turn down some people, I'd give it a try because Mahjong is fun.

I play this game mostly because of nostalgia. I remember watching the show when I was a kid. Wish those games could be translated in brazilian portuguese.

I like these kind of games. Too bad it can't hold a candle for the Front Mission series. I'm going to try it some day.

Nothing beats playing Painkiller around Halloween time. On Insomnia difficulty and below your health restores on every checkpoint to max, that is why you are healing. On Nightmare however your health only restores from souls and health pickups On Trauma there are no souls and only health pickups restore health. Thats why your health restored The Painkiller (the melee weapon that spins around and mangles enemies) is not actually exclusively a melee weapon, its alternate fire launches it and creates a laser in between which hurts enemies, you can also spin it with the regular fire and launch it for a combo which launches the spinning blade towards enemies for multiple kills (the hit detection in hell & damnation is better for this which is one of H&D's strong points). So that weapon alone can do a lot without any ammo cost. The Stakegun's alternate fire launches grenades and you can shoot a stake at the launched grenade to send the grenade further forward to make a rocket if you time it well. Also you can move a lot faster in the game by bunnyhopping and it's very easy to do in this game, it lets you outrun these enemies a lot easier.

I always appreciated the Battle Gear soundtrack, and that intro’s actually heavy. I dig that.

In the original Painkiller he's voiced by Cam Clarke but in Hell & Damnation he's voiced by Jon St Jon, yeah very original. I'm used to hearing him as Cam Clarke so it's weird listening to Jon St Jon talk as him.
