For someone who does such great art education, I’m disappointed to hear such a disparaging view of public art. I appreciate your explanation of things a lot of folks don’t know, but you are leaving out a lot of other information that goes into these projects. Also, you neglected to say all of the great reasons to have public art in your community.

What you need to understand is most prisons now are private and if we don't fill them we also get charged from the prisons which is even worse.

Those are some wonderful ways to use money for the arts, and by extension our children! I especially love the woodworking training concept because it can become either a paid job in the future or even just an enjoyable hobby. Very cool.

My favorite animal is the Peregrine Falcon. It's the fastest animal on the planet and they are so pretty. Plus they have such a cool cry, unlike bald eagles that bark and they use red tailed hawks for the sounds when they show them on movies because they sound better. I actually did my Eagle Scout project building a rehabilitation cage for raptors (birds of prey), so they have always been an interest to me and I loved seeing the ones that couldn't be released at the raptor center

Peppers require significantly higher nutrient levels in soil than typical bonsai trees, so chances are, you're going to end up with a dead plant. Best of luck, though.

I would say our long-necked dinosaurs would cause us the biggest disruption because they are literal walking fucking skyscrapers that have definitely added some bodies to their accounts by sheer accident just because they're so big you know they caught bodies just by walking so with these literal walking skyscrapers going around you're going to sit there and tell me that they're not just going to charge their way through anything? Especially when you get a herd of Brachiosaurus the biggest dinosaur ever that just wants to come charging through a town with no forethought or give a shit for the houses or people that they literally aren't even aware are there cuz they're 100 ft in the air! Let alone now we're getting into the smaller breeds like triceratops or something or still quite large, and you're going to tell me that they're not just going to be in a herd come charging through getting away from a predator or something and just be knocking cars off of the highway? How about stegosaurus think it's threatened in all of a sudden you have a car flying in the air, because you know the plant eater dinosaurs most of the time are basically walking tanks! And even the more two-legged plant eaters are still way too massive to not cause issues even the pakisaurus you know the one that uses its head as a weapon? And I haven't even started on the Predators😅

This should really be talked about more! We have to get comfortable with uncomfortable truths when it comes to art. It's not always wholesome. And the sooner people learn that the better.
