This is not evergreen, at all! Its a evolving landscape with dynamic variables & continous updates. Mostly around the model testing, quantization & implementation paths. To suggest otherwise is wrong. Perhaps the intent here was to suggest its going to be a regular, reoccuring theme & we need to be on it? Given english is her 2nd language. Maybe that was her point...? Its unclear. For sure though... this is not evergreen, in anyway!

I recall someone in the audience saying at Seller Sessions live 'focus on the algorithm' when you had a fireseide panel on-stage, with Ellis & others. Its good to see that the idea landed & you have gone off & spent allot of time to understand the technical automation that underpins Azon's ecom behemoth. Having a baseline grasp thats grounded in data, patents & shared scientific research + knowledge. Is invaluable & will keep you relevant and in the game.

Part 3 is dropping soon. This time we break it down on the white board. Would love your thoughts 👊

Hello, thank you for this really insightful piece. Is it possible to get the system to reintroduce the honeymoon period if we use the same ASIn afresh but use different attributes? I had a mix-up with one of my ASINS, its been live 2 days across the weekend, interactions is still pretty low because there is no ads on it, I am wondering if I hard delete the ASIN and reintroduce it back after 1 week with a new title and changed attributes, also with the launch date into the future, perhaps I can regain the honeymoon period?
@SellerSessionsАй бұрын
We are going to do a mind map session in the next episode breaking it down in a more simplistic way. On the subject of attributes, brand name, size, weight, flavour, materials, ingredients etc for your product maybe unique. And a change of title maybe not enough. As the posterior updates from its initial Prior, it could see as the same product. Once we show on the board the Prior , Posterior and Bayesian Update. And how the posterior is constantly refined you will see that we are working off a 24 - 2 window. So there is no longer a honeymoon period like back in 2015. You are almost in realtime.

Too much credence is given to the 'scientific literature', IMO. Just because Amazon has papers/patents/etc on theories, it doesn't necessarily mean that they've put them into use. Filing patents are used as a incentive to hire the best engineers. Also keeps competitors at bay.
@SellerSessionsАй бұрын
You make some valid points. Also, just think if people are telling people to chase a “Honeymoon Period” that does not exist, whilst then track their keywords, with software that that takes a random snapshot to avoid detection, only for the accuracy to be out by a country mile.

Many vine reviewer do not understand the product, and have not compared or used similar products on the market. Their comments are not professional at all, and many times they just give a 1-star bad review because they are in a bad mood. Do you know how much impact a 1-star bad review has on the seller? I can tell you with certainty that a 1-star bad review will cause the seller to lose tens of thousands of dollars, or even go bankrupt. If it is a product problem, this is the bad review seller deserves, but vine reviewers are not even familiar with the product and give a bad review unreasonably, which really disgusts me. There are many such vine reviewers.

I love how passionate Vanesa is on this subject! Thanks so much for explaining this, I've heard banter about the changes but this has given me a much clearer understanding of what changes could potentially take place. It's another great reminder around the importance of knowing your customer.

Wow, my two favourite Amazon experts in one great video. Lots of info to go through, it's going to take a few more views to take it all in. Thank you Vanessa for all the work you have done to uncover how Amazon is going to deploy the use of AI and what that means for us sellers. And thank you Adam for a great interview. Robert

Thank you for this interview, I was so curious about Adam’s stroke. I too am a young person that had I stroke. I was 38 when I had it. Mom of three, doesn’t seem real that it happened. His seems to have impacted him far less than mine did. Funny enough I discovered him and Tom Wang after mine, tells you where I am on my road to recovery. Just got my trademark and about to launch my idea. Ironically it’s using humor to heel. Glad to see he doing good. And I’m thankful for what he does.

Someone in the "community" decided that I had "suspicious activity" in my reviews? Now I can't review anything for EVER! I can't even tell them when something arrives broken or incorrect item. And I can't tell vendors when I'm delighted with their products. They never said what I had done. I think it was because I was too positive in my reviews. Instagram did that to me once but only for a month. I had given too many "thumbs up". What do I do? I feel I've been exiled! They never showed what I did wrong and I had no chance to defend myself. I feel like they must be run by a different country. 😢 Thanks for whatever help you can give me. 😊
