The purification process wasn't finis yet. The water is still yellow and have on the top some mosquito's larva. You didn't know about purification process and water at all my friend.

Thanks for that but I could have left that sit all day and it would still have been yellow as the puribag purification chemical doesnt remove tannins it just kills bacteria, viruses and parisites .. and as for the tannins and everything else that may be in the water.. you must have missed when I stated that there is a charcoal filter and screen behind the spout that takes care of any particulates or insects that may still be in there. Buy one, try it and see..

And why do you say that? Yes this trap is large and over exaggerated, that is so that it shows on camera, realistically where I live the trap would be smaller and alot more of them but I also know my way around foraging so I don't think I would. Or, I would just use my bow.

@SurvivalHowTobasics

It's mainly for ease of viewing just like the white wire but a loop that size I would probably be going for things like fox, wild dog, smallish roos. depending on where I am and what animals around will determine what size snare I will use

it's been a while like 6 years since i've tried this. I used to have a kit with a can nested inside a plastic container. i've made "stoves" with these before and such. I m pretty sure there's still room for tape :) .. take CaRe

Hello. Very useful items in your kit, and CR also likes to create them among other things. You tend to learn more going thru the process and fine tuning them for your own requirements. Could be room to add tape if you choose to. Take CaRe and all the best to you and family from CR.

Hey, Thanks for commenting. Tape would be a very useful item for my kit. My old container was sealed with a few metres of duct tape that I could peel off and roll. I do usually carry a roll on me when I am out filming and hiking (usually for fixing my cameras to trees) so I overlooked it for this kit. All the best to you aswell

@@SurvivalHowTobasics thank you . I've shown the "layered method" for tape" Once set up , it is very thin non continuest tape yet easy and fast to deploy. i wonder if reusable zip /cable ties could work for your cameras.
