Otto Apocalypse and Bondrewd have to be tied for my favorite antagonists. A reasonable and possibly ideal goal, but horrific and inexcusable actions taken. Both are men of stature and honor, and both accept defeat as means to a greater destiny. Both are fueled by love and passion- it is their drive, it is what keeps them alive, both figuratively and literally (respectively.) Their ends are not pitiful, they are graceful, like an actor taking his last bow before walking offstage, like a candle flickering away after the last drop of wax is spilt.
