I am 2 years late but i still felt like commenting. By journey is important not destination, its not referring to a literal thing like a place which you ride to and come back. It refers to a deeper emotion about that ride. It refers to not planning every detail but leaving small stuff to chance. Because in planning, you tend to choose most predictable option that lacks newness and elements of surprise. You can have a rough destination in mind still but you don't decide stops & eat when you feel hungry, ask for some suggestions to interesting routes or detours on the way from people/maps, and keep exploring places around until you feel like coming back. You are mindful about what you see on the roads instead of on phone or camera. Take new routes and ask yourself on the way where you feel like going. It doesn't mean wandering.

Next time you come to Muskegon hit me up I'll take you down the coast it's a great ride. You came on a bad year. All the stuff that's at the park got moved back down to rebel road in the big empty lot by the lc Walker arena. Contests ate at hot rod

It is, it's a cool little town, What's cool about Michigan is, there's also a Paradise up in the U.P. So if you make it there, than you can say you've been to hell, paradise and everywhere in between. lol.

I feel like (and this is just my opinion) any of these events *those that are left* aren't what they used to be. Even a few years ago. I don't know what's happened but, Most of these events just seem, watered down or, idk. Maybe it's just a sign of the times.

We left for Baldwin at 12 noon on Saturday from our meet up spot outside of Jackson and it was in the forties , it was actually a little warmer up there when we left, this time of year its like you dont what to expect weather wise in Mi .Stay safe and maybe see you on the road .

The weather is crazy! Especially for that event, one year, it was 90+ degrees, a year or two later, we got caught riding in a hail storm! Just one extreme after another, makes for good stories later on though. lol. Thanks for checking this out. Ride safe!

Left the stockbridge area on sat and took highway 37 part way .Yea you are right its impossible to find a place in Baldwin we stayed at the Holiday Inn right by where you guys were at . Been going up there to Baldwin since 2004 weather permitting , next year going to make it a 3 day event . I read on line where they thought over 5k at the airport , record breaking i guess, great time . Enjoy your videos .

Thank you! Unless you live close by, I feel like three days is the way to go, one day up, hang out on day two, head home day three. We've only went to the blessing on Sunday once (2013) and it was, ok. It was very hot that year and there was no where to get shade or anything like that, wasn't really a fan of the blessing at the airport, but I like seeing all the bikes and vendors downtown. It's a good time.

Went a couple days ago. That video will be coming, maybe next Monday. The following weekend I'm busy, so I wouldn't be able to make it to bike week next weekend, so it had to be this weekend.
