@Ahmed.R.Albayaty oh yeah very different to Neverwinter, one thing Neverwinter has going for it is the combat system. Throne and Liberty is a lot more like traditional MMORPGs lots of crunchy/clunky RPG mechanics

Would like to see MLMD tanking and positioning. I heard the dragon breaths if kill dps is tank's fault. Is there a way to stop dragon from turning to dps?

You need to be pretty quick, but if you run into it when it tries to jump over you, it can basically flip the breath back around

@Merrilow ty but at last 40% health, lots of wipes. I'm still not sure what we are doing wrong. Is there a way to avoid those debuffs? He swiped with wings and tail seems to also give debuffs it seems. I know for sure candles give a debuff.

@@oldfaithfulXav He starts throwing out extra random mechanics after 50%. Pretty much every red area attack gives debuffs as well as the breath, there does seem to be one sequence that appears to put like 10 stacks of debuff on you in an instant but I suspect that may be a bug 🤔 You can mitigate the debuff stacks by using a Dragon Ward overload + the dragon damage resistance ring + a scroll of protection from dragon

We switch once a tank has a stack of the starlight debuff. The sequence from the boss is stun attempt > tank buster (which applies the stack) > teleport > cone blast You should be aiming to switch to after the teleport, once the cone blast direction has been set. This will help minimise any accidents blasting damage into the dps

I dont believe, in dmg companion in utlity slot, they all are pretty meh. And running stats companions as golden cat/ book imp/ alchemist would get better results. Id rarher run, stat comp in utility, and go for some additional dmg gear.

This build looks pretty meh. Using perfect weapons in an endgame build is bad, especially on warlock since you get 10% stats for free, you shouldn't need it. I reach 4 90s 1 87% with solarium and 4 damage comps with minimal group buffs (mystic, pack tactics, 1x 5% ca companion), and damage boots. If I have a porto or just use 3 damage comps I can get 5 90s. Two ap gear pieces is not worth it on warlock because you already get your daily back in ~35 seconds on pc with one (probably faster on console because you can cancel faster it seems). Also with dc/acc you are supposed to use hand of blight mainly and hellish rebuke dot for sparks, but its not worth the trouble unless the boss doesn't move at all like in tomm. EDIT: I see you have 4 dmg comps as well. Vicious dire wolf is like 1% damage and not worth it, imo obv. Can get a little more damage with non-raptor

@@days387 you appear to have missed the bit where I stated that it's a general build and not fully optimised for anything in particular. I then go on to explain that various items can be switched out for extra damage with some minor reworking and even explicitly state that the Solarium would get better damage. Of course you can get more damage with non-raptor, going to be pretty hard to find 4 other random endgamers who currently have non-raptor builds though. Thanks for the input though!

love them perfect weaps in Single Target. gives you so much freedom :) nice build and guide bro. edit:Why not using 5% crit pants? Means you could fit dmg boots or something to remove the need for flap/tutor :) Since you’re already using AP gloves is the ap pants not overkill?

@@thac-_- animation cancelling on the warlock tends to eat through stamina so that shirt is less useful 🤔 The damage boots could be put in as is, would only drop the crit strike to 85% or so. My aim with this was for a general build that can be adapted for whatever content, saves me having to put out 12 build every mod 😂

Hard to see which one is gonna be activated while playing and where to stand that is safe. Ended up hugging that wall all the time and that is no good for dps or any class. With everything going on at the same time, this is really tough.

@xaviercraze2777 yeah it's pretty chaotic to begin with. It might seem like invisible rays but it's actually the mirrors lighting up on the walls and reflecting the previous blast across the arena. In the advanced version you can see the mirror reflection blast telegraphed with a red line but in the Master it just shows the mirrors lighting up. If you pay attention to the red lines before the mirrors reflected blast you can spot which area is going to be safe. A general rule is that the direct center of a pillar will be safe most of the time, that's how we trained new people to survive. There is an additional white noise blast that happens when a curse ends the damage of that ramps up with every curse stack. And there's a couple of curses that will cause damage, the red one does damage if you move and the green one does damage if you stop moving.

@Merrilow You are awesome Merri, u even took the time to reply. The move and not move mechanics is mostly not possible to follow as everyone is running towards mobs and boss. Think the healer can help mitigate these dmgs from the debuffs. Not sure if it can kill after too many stacks though.

My main Ceric had her powers reset. Not the Feats and Boons, but At Wills, Encounters, Dailies and Class features were set to the first ones on each bar. I didn't notice until I was in the middle of the Hell Pit fight! It didn't happen to every character of each class, or every class, but some Paladins and Fighters were affected as well. I wish they'd sort themselves out and stop pulling stuff like this. {:o:O:}

I was able to switch three feats and copy ur insignia bonuses and I see a real noticeable difference like not dying 20 times 😂 very new to tanking so thank u. I had to play and stop ur video 100 times tho lol

@@KScrolls-x2p oh I get you 😄 the swapping I was doing in the beginning was just splitting it into aoe and single target build and putting the raptor back on at first boss. Then I added some specific dragon damage reduction things at the last boss. The main thing for not having a healer is having providence equipped as the mount bonus instead of a stat Aura for the dps and with a healer I'd be able to run more debuff gear. Glad it's helped with your tanking 😄

@@Low_tolerance not entirely 🤔 it's pretty useless without deflect severity above 50% and certainly the least useful/efficient defensive stat. They really messed it up by splitting it into 2 stats. But if you can get your deflect and deflect severity up without sacrificing awareness/crit avoid/defense then it's an additional source of damage reduction. You don't deflect with your shield up so this comes into play when you drop your shield to regain stamina, the self heal shirt and heal on deflect mount bonus kick in with reduced damage from the deflection.

The topaz ring? That's for the deflect and deflect severity rather than the forte, there isn't many sources for deflect severity in the game, and that ring is good way to boost it without sacrificing the main stats. Deflect only really becomes useful if you can get the deflect sev above 50% without loses the other main stats

Dependence on multiple stacks is not a good idea for tanking, and deflection is very bad nowadays

Deflection isn't bad per se it's just not efficient use of stats vs putting it into awareness, defense, crit avoid. And only as effective as the deflect severity. If you can maintain the other stats then getting deflect up and deflect severity above 50% is actually pretty good for overall damage reduction. This isn't depending on stacks, apart from the helm and void weapons which are static once ramped up. The reactionary stats from the arms are just a nice little boost occasionally with a high proc rate.

I don't need consistent 90s and the rugged boots are no good for a no healer run. Deflect doesn't trigger with shield up any way so that's not relevant for tank busters. The stacks it's relying on are the static stacks from the helm which are totally consistent once ramped up. Oh sounds like we have a salty pally or barb.

@ansfridaeyowulfsdottir8095 you can't run randoms without a healer the queues are class locked. The no healer runs are performed in the Master version of the dungeons. Rough AD is in the chests at the end though 🤔

But it would be good to be strong enough to not need a healer, as I could always run randoms with one just for the rAD. My main is a Cleric Healer, my second main a Dwarven Fighter Tank, but I'm getting fed up of having to chase after people running away from me just to keep them alive! 🤣🤣 {:o:O:}
