These bar songs tore you up when it was your reality and still sting because of the memories decades later.

The amount of talent on that stage is astounding. All fantastic singers in their own right. The album Honky Tonk Angels is amazing. Was lucky enough to see Dolly in 2011 and Tammy many years ago. Both were soooooooooo great. Dolly was one of the best shows I've ever been to.

Barf Brooks destroyed this song. This video should be scrubbed. You know, like they do with everyone else who commits a crime? Erase their memory, like they never existed? Yeah, Barf when that far.

I had never heard of Emmy Lou so the first time I heard this song was in 1975. I was in a juke joint in Speery,OK and I was immediately smitten by her voice and fell in love with a woman I never knew existed and had no clue what she looked like! Almost 50 years later I'm still her biggest fan!

Simple words inspired by Kris walking down the street on a Sunday morning. Simple but they ended up being genius. RIP Kris & Johnny Cash. Trisha did great!

Black tuxedo jacket, white bowtie, white shirt, black cowboy hat, blue jeans, and black cowboy boots? George Strait is certainly the best dressed singer in the history of country music.
