Honestly ... I'm amazed at how difficult it is. I could not figure out how to talk to a human. Best I could do is pretend that I was moving out. There is no way to simply close an account and have them remove their equipment. 0 will no longer take you to an operator ... option 3 will literally tell you to go to the website and hang up on you. The same website that does not have an option to simply close an account. I'm astonished at how awful it is. This type of setup should be illegal.

I have installed a heat pump last week as there was a delay from the manufacturer and took time to install windows due to glass shortages they did not come in time. Enbridge Gas keeps sending me letters with a QR code to scan and update the status and date of my installation- THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION - SO WIERD! Is the QR code web address scammed? How do I know? - unfortunately on that letter , EnbridgeGas does not provide a customer contact number if you run into issues such as their system does not allow you to update the status using their QR code and probably they are not aware of it! Also I never received any confirmation from Enbridge that there was an issue with my update using their QR code or it went thru, nor a copy of my reply was sent to me either! My energy auditor cannot help me in this update, I gotto do it on my own ! Would you provide me the customer service number as I cannot find this on Google. ? Let's be customer friendly Enbridge! Thanks Enbridge !

Supposedly, the last thing the Homeowner heard was: A Building Permit from the City of Sudbury was acquired by Enbridge Gas in order to commence insulting the basement at 129 Third Avenue? That was a few weeks ago? Since then, no contact or follow-up from Enbridge? 🤷‍♀️🙏

If you can get the rebate $6.5k for a 3 ton cold weather heat pump its about the same price as a high efficiency a/c unit. so you get some heat , whether you actually save money hard to tell. See City of Toronto they have all sorts of analysis on Heat Pump conversions full electric and hybrid.

Just need to correct the comment about it being free. Nothing is free. Programs like these are subsidized by taxes. But to the customer receiving the service, they are not paying a fee for receiving the benefits of this program.

Enbridge is a scam, soon as you get hooked in, they send you a ridiculously high estimated bill, after freaking out, you call, immediately they try to get you on budget billing based on the over estimate. They make it very confusing to follow, instant red flag. Where's the government to protect the public against preditory practices like this ?

I am a 77 year senior living in a small house for 47 years. I had one bedroom window and one kitchen window installed. I WAS PROMISED TO GET 100% of the cost of assessment. IT TURNED OUT THAT THE COST WAS ALMOST $1000.00 WHEN THE REBATE FOR ASSESSMENT IS $600.00. GREEN NEG SOLUTIONS did the assessment. I refused to pay for the post assessment over $150.00 and when I did Jason called me in the evening and threatened to “take care of me”. I had to call the police and install surveillance camera. BUYER BE AWARE OF SCAMS.

Enbridge does not care about the environment or safety. We have had a gas leak out in front of our house which we reported over a month ago with no action from Enbridge. Meanwhile our kids can't play outside, we smell it every time we leave the house, and I'm sure our neighbours are going to complain to the city that we aren't cutting our grass. This is a clear sign that Enbridge does not look after it's own infrastructure and all they care about is money.
