if it occurs at maximum load, the only solution is undervolt and setting constant voltage, in the case of my rtx 4070 super max voltage card I changed 1.1 to 0.95 and the problem disappeared, of course in msi afterburner set.

After trying all methods finally fixed it by undervolting my gpu and increasing the max power by 20 I have an rx 580

in quality the visual difference is not that high with the new transformer mode but in performance it looks almost the same now, so you can just go down to performamce have doulbe fps with same visual quality

thank you for actually showing realistic gameplay instead of just driving around for 5 minutes. one of my biggest gripes with path tracing was how blurry it made people's faces but this looks quite a bit better

Hello guys, my settings, asus prime b550 plus, ryzen 7 5800x3d, nvidea 4090,4x16gb g skill ram, aio liquid 360...my prob, random black screen and fans push 100%. I checkt all, and than, I found the problem, I take out all 4x16 gb ram, checkt every ram and the ram slots, the 3rd slot was down. Now the problem is not longer, I put 2 ram in the slots and I buy a new motherboard. It's the second time with asus boards with slot probs. I hope I can help you!

Guys listen i purchased an asus gtx 1060 in february 2018 and i experienced first black screen in march 2018. It would continue until the card finally died after last black screen fans 100 crash in february 2020. It was defective card from start. I couldn't rma it because the crashes were actually RANDOM and hard to replicate and I was getting bluscreens (they were gone after changing gpu). (What i tried is changing psu, gpu cables, new windows install, clean install nvidia drivers, cleaning card, reseat, etc.) Now after that I bought a gigabyte rtx 2060 in february 2021. I experienced my first black screen fans 100 crash in may 2024. They were much more rare and less random (always crashed under load) And yesterday my card crashed first time in 3 weeks and after it I couldn't open a single game without crashing or even watch a youtube video. I thought another card of mine died. But no. I dissasembled it, cleaned it etc, applied new thermal paste and it magically works again. If ur crashes are very random and not even under load and you're getting blue screens there is a big chance that card is defective. If the crashes happen are not random and happen under load it is high chance it is fixable.

I solved this issue with MSI Afterburner. I have the same card and this happend to me twice. One time inside warranty timeframe on onetime outside of warranty timeframe with the replaced card. In my observation the problem seems to be with the nvidia gpu boost technology where the gpu clock goes over the manfacturer stated boostclock. The nvidia boost clock technology seems to reduce the lifespan of some voltage regulating components and mosfets. My solution are the following afterburner setting. Reduce powerlimit to 80%. In the voltage curve editor you have to flatten the curve at manfacturer stated boost clock or reference card boost clock to disable the nvidia boost technology. So now your gpu works under constant voltage and mhz load without the spikes. In my opinion this is planned obsolecence. Maybe these options helps someone. GPU Boost technology is bad in my opinion.

Followed @JaceD4V1S88 's comment and it worked, seems like I had accidentally lossen my pcie cable while cleaning the pc which was attached to the gpu, then I took the other cable which was hanging beside the gpu then reattached it n boom! no more black screen or crazy fan noises, thanks G

Power does not seem to be my issue. It happens when i do nothing and can just 100% gpu without it happeng. Its random but sometimes it happens when i bump my desk.

My 2080 ti is giving black screen after bios screen at the start up. But there is no high fan speeds etc.

UPDATE: SO I FIGURED THIS OUT 100%, IT WAS THE PCI-E CORD TO THE GPU. OFF THE MAIN CONNECTOR BRANCHES ANOTHER CONNECTOR, I SWITCHED THEM AND I HAVENT HAD THE PROBLEM IN MONTHS, SWITCHED BACK TO THE FIRST USED CONNECTOR TO VERIFY AND AS SOON AS I MOVED THE CORD IT SHUT OFF SO TRY SWITCHING TO THE CONNECTOR THAT BRANCHES OFF FROM THE MAIN PCI-E CORD TO THE GPU

Update bios no more error for me.. i use rtx 2060...

i have the same issue with my Gigabyte 4070 Ti Super even on idle just watching youtube the screen goes black and the fan is ramping up. I will try swap the Pcie cable and see if it works i will give a update if it works

For my part it is SOLVED, at first I thought it was the power supply, it was changed and nothing, it kept happening. Then I changed the 12phvwr cable and it was solved. In short, it is a power supply problem, you just have to rule out where the fault comes from.

Hi, thanks for the viedo, as i investigate, the problem is a bad connexión in the PCIE conecctors of the GPU, for these reason the card in the middle of the connectors and the heat sink do pression in the connector an they don't lose connection, but the best solution is re-soldering the connectors

For me the issue turned out to be a BIOS setting issue. I kept getting an event error hich was due to my Secure Boot setting not being enabled in my BIOS. I enabled it and now it works.
