Hello This is my local crossing, I'll be happy to tell you why there's a barrier delay. Trimley station has a short platform, a 3 car 755 fits on fine, but when it's a 4 car 755 it overhangs onto the crossing. As a result the barrier doesn't rise until the 755 has departed the station for Felixstowe, does this for whether it's 3 or 4 cars. This is to ensure it is safe for cars and pedestrians. There isn't a barrier delay though when just a 66 goes over the crossing. Hopes this clears this up

Really nice double-pass in the first activation there. I do miss the days of these older liveries though I like SWR's current. The back unit of the southbound 12-car had quite the paint job!
