Wow, this is amazing. Literally the best demo of this thing. It’s amazing how full you made the sound with only four tracks available. You could totally work for Roland to demo their drum machines. I’m amazed you don’t have more followers.

Brilliant track 🙌🏼 and also the best video featuring a pair of fingerless gloves

Just got one. Thanks for showing us, what cool jams you can make with it, when you learn how it works. Have fun, and best wishes for your continued success.

Hey thanks so much! That’s so kind of you to say 😊 Are you enjoying the 101? Took me a while to get into a flow with it but i find it so fun to sit down and noodle away at all the settings and knobs 😊
@TheScreamingFrog9162 жыл бұрын
@@grazstarr Yes, I like the 101 very much. I love that it is battery powered and easy to use on the couch. It helped me to print out a cheat sheet, with the shortcuts I use most, on it. I find it simple to use the basic features, but takes a little more effort, to use the advanced features. Writing notes, and/or copy and pasting sections of the instructions into a note book is helpful. Have fun 🎶🙂

could do with a bass line though but the synth engine was really not good at bass imo
@grazstarr2 жыл бұрын
I find it really hard to find a good bass line synth for tracks on the 101. Like it takes me ages to find one. It’s annoying but i do love this little box. It’s so fun to use
@hobbowizardanimations2 жыл бұрын
hey this is not bad funny as I had one of these and also I had a mc 707 and didnt like them, mostly the synth engine, but this is a great little song man sounds good
@grazstarr2 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks so much man really appreciate your comment. I had a 707 and got rid of it. I also had a system 1 and sold it. The 101 has always stayed. I find it so easy to pick up and make something fun so quickly. I guess it’s what you get used to. Thanks again 😊

Did you go to DJ school? This was the next piece of gear I was thinking of aquiaring... Sounds pretty perfect.
@grazstarr2 жыл бұрын
I didn’t but I used to dj for 10 years from early 2000’s. Used to make music on Reason and Cubase many moons ago. Now it’s all hardware for fun 😊

Good work. May I ask how you are achieving the ducking - are you side chaining in post or faking it live with something like an auto swell? Interested to know.
@grazstarr3 жыл бұрын
Yo! Sorry only saw this now. The side chain is from the MX1 it has an option per channel for sidechaining. I highly recommend the mx1 if you have Roland gear. Still great if not but it works really well with other Roland gear :) any other questions happy to answer!

YESS! I think it was the middle of winter and the houses here in Tasmania, well most of them, were built really cheaply with no insulation! Where I am it gets fairly cold, although nowhere near as cold as Russia! :)
