Great video friend, I have a question. How did you bridge Respluemn with ShowExpress? or you operate them independently
@DJEklipse10 күн бұрын
We operate the softwares independently.

Just what i was looking for, someone who could tell me why showXpress is useful. We going to throw a big event next month, and i have it all programmed with Philips hue lights, but it's just not the same as moving heads. So we want to give people i wilder experience, so going to learn this software one hundred procent :) Nice work.

2023...my Numark TTX1 is still performing as new. I purchased when released and have never had an issue. First cartridge a Stanton Groovemaster. Today I run an Ortifon red for listening on the S arm option. Sounds good through my Sunfire Theater/ Sunfire Cinema set up. In 1983 had two 1200s. They were $499 each Canadian at that time. Great turntables but later sold not thinking they would ever be coveted by some. They were just another good turntable but more geared to dj's. A top Denon of that time was a much better sounding turntable than a 1200. The TTX was purchased simply because I found it interesting and a change at the time. And all these years later it sounds and performs pretty good.

Depends on what you're using it for. A hazer is better to enhance light shows but a fogger like this will create more of a thick cloud.
@djdecimator97 Жыл бұрын
Had the 1200 for 20 years but later sold them and got the TTX which have been with me for around 12 years. Both solid tt's.

That’s a great use of resources that gives a spectacular result - good job. If you want to cut down on an operator then consider going to Avolites Synergy/AI to combine lights and graphic visuals automatically.

Amazing setup and light/video management! Those video effects and transitions are controlled with the keyboard at resolume? Or did you use a MIDI controller to make it easier as with the lasers and lights?

We use touch screen computers and MIDI controllers for all our softwares.

Motor completely cut out on the first version of ttx due Lack of ventilation. I had the later version too but the motor started locking up on occasion as well. Absolute shame as they have so much potential but ultimately I moved onto technics. Nothing beats reliability/stability.

I've always wanted a pair of Technics but I went with numarks because they were far less expensive. Been using a pair of Numarks since about 2006 and I love em. Will the TTX fit in a case designed for a Technics?

You said both are plastic housing. That is incorrect. The EV ELX 115P is a plywood cabinet. That feature alone will improve the low end frequencies not to forget that you turned down the bass on the Behringer at the start of the video. Also, the power ratings are different. So not really comparing like with like. 25% more power in the EV's. Not to mention EV's pedigree as a speaker manufacturer. Also, the distance from the speaker is important. Recording right in front of them tells you very little. It's at a distance that you will notice the difference in headroom, dispersion and the distance the sound is thrown.

Can I ask, what do you price for this sort of thing? No worries intended, I'm nowhere near your market, just getting into lighting and wondering what a charge is for a good package

I like that your entire rig isn't lit the entire time and you have times when you use some fixtures and other times when you use other fixtures. You also have a pretty good knack for timing and dramatic effect. This makes light shows better and in my opinion is one of the several things that separates the amateurs from those who have been at it for a while.
