I’ll say, LSU/A&M isn’t a forced rivalry. Neither team is each others main rival but they do have history as annual opponents long before the Aggies joined the SEC. The Tigers and Aggies are natural rivals so “forcing” the game is only natural

SEC needs to just stick with the main few they have instead of creating new ones. They should be happy with the historical rivals. It works for the B10, they have historical rivalries that draw extremely well. Even with them making new rivalries, you just can't beat The Game. #GoBlue

LSU rivals are definitely Arkansas (Battle of the Boot), Ole Miss (Magnolia Bowl), Alabama (self named by me as Saban is still your daddy bowl), Tulane (Battle of the Ragged Flag), Texas A&M (due to Jimbo Fisher and honestly has become a real rivalry), and Florida.

Both my grandparents are from fort smith my grandpa is an Arkansas fan while my grandma is a Wisconsin fan bc I think she was technically born there but grew up in fort smith

I feel like A&M and LSU started to hate each other in the late 2010’s and the 74-72 game and then the SEC threw the growing Rivalry game away and make it a week 8 match up but u would rather play TU then lsu Texas A&M has finally was getting into the rivalry games then it just discarded them

Imo what makes the Michigan and Ohio state rivalry the best is the fact that it started before the football teams even played the first time. 1836 the rivalry between the states of Michigan and Ohio began after the conclusion of the Toledo war and carried over to the football teams.
