It just came up while I went out for my daily walk. Yes. True. Wherever I am, He wants me to pray about whatever I see.

My aunt gave me this 45 rpm in 1964. It had Dark Moon on the other side along with Bonaparte’s Retreat. It was a weird 45 because it had more than one song per side.

I really wish they had released this in 1958, when I was glued to my radio. Too long to wait for such a fantastic song, by one of the very leading groups of the 20th century

News flash --- the song isn't literally about walking. It's just another piece of religious hyperbole that's easy to digest.

I think technically this 7 inch 45 RPM Record should be considered the first commercial 45 RPM - dispute claims Pee Wee the Piccolo was the first - and others claim was the RCA Demo - but that was an excerpt. Not really qualified which of the 3 deserves the credit - strange the Green Vinyl Texarkana seem less rare than the Black Plastic Vinyl
Merci pour ce double partage Évidemment je connais la chanson de Bobby Vinton mais je ne connaissais pas la réponse Merci à vous

My Mother and i used to ride to work together in the early 70's. When Jim Reeves came on the radio she would grab my hand and tell to shoosh. She loved Jim Reeves.

Merry Christmas! Coffee with the Carters 🎵🎄🎁🎶 Below is an article out of the December 1949 KWTO Dial magazine. The reporter asks Anita Carter (Of the famous Carter Family) and Chet Atkins their favorite Christmas song. Anita answers; "Empty Christmas Stocking" Lulu Belle and Scotty kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpPammewn69ofbM) INQUIRING REPORTER Bettie Low: What is your favorite Christmas song, and do you associate it with some event or experience in your childhood? Anita Carter-My favorite · is "Empty Christmas Stocking." It's about a child whose only parent, his father, doesn't have any money, so he steals a doll for his child's Christmas. Upon his capture, a rich man feels sorry for him and pays for the doll, afterwards giving him a job in his factory. His child then had a very merry Christmas. I like it for telling a story of generosity at Christmas time. (Anyone can hear it on You Tube, “Empty Christmas Stocking” Lulu Belle and Scotty 1939) Chet Atkins-"White Christmas" is my favorite. The reason? Because most of Irving Berlin's songs are always my favorites. I think his tunes are tops. They get so close to what we feel most deeply. #Cartersisterscountrymusichalloffame #Cartersistersrockandrollhalloffame #Cartersistersmusicianshalloffame
