Great job dean! I’m about to start a similar job here at my place on the east coast of Australia and your video has given me a few ideas and tips. Wish I had your excavator to help 😅

If your engine has DPF then you might be better off running it t full throttle. You will get smooth as you gin experience. At the very least don't lug a diesel engine and let it idle for a couple minutes before shutting it down. Good job so far!
@deanbirks10 ай бұрын
Thanks. It does not have DPF. So should I still run full throttle? Thanks in advance.
@mcpiddler113510 ай бұрын
I don't run my older engine at full throttle but I try not to lug them around and I do let them idle for a couple minutes before shut down even if not turbocharged.@@deanbirks

Nice work. I've done a retaining wall with 6x6 treated wood, non-woven geotextile and drain tile. I used galvanized spikes and structural bolts made for treated wood. I also used rebar where necessary but kept it to a minimum due to the corrosiveness of the chemicals used in treated wood. Your consideration for frost heave and drainage is key to keep a timber retaining wall in good shape for many year to come.
@deanbirks Жыл бұрын
Thanks. I never considered the corrosive nature of "end cut" on those 3ft rebar.

Imagine these people had lifes. Until someone got sick or lose their job. I guess the company owning the house didn't give a fuck and just gave them a notice. I had to leave once and didn't have money to halul my stuff away. They did send me a bill fornot cleaning, but it was settled over the social security. I was in bad place back then but the company didn't give a fuck.
