Wow, good to see you again as I happened upon your turorial. Great idea about CWB once you get the exposure. I always use my grey target even with a meter. Used t use one of the big targets but now the largest I have found is 24"x24". Just have to adjust.

My Nex-7 wins over my Fuji Xpro 2 it is lighter, easier and a pleasure to use due to its Tri Nav Dial System ( aperture, shutter speed, and ISO ) disliked by those who need to change the mode consistently as it has to be accessed in the menu I set my mode and leave it.

Is pocket wizaed still in business? I can't seem to find any info confirming that pocket wizard are compatible with Canon mirrorless cameras. I do see some info cautioning against use on the 5d mark Iv for some PW products. No mention of the the R5, R6 or R3. The R3 and probably the others have an updated hot-shoe so I need confirmation that it will still here the botton half press and the shutter release.

Hi, In these videos I simply share my experiences as a modestly successful pro. On many commercial / advertising shoots the clients are on location / studio while we setup. It's a good way to make changes that will save time, stay creatively "loose", and to map out the shooting structure ahead. Choosing gear that suits the photo session best makes the day much easier and (hopefully!) more profitable which is why we had a deep selection of cameras, lenses, imaging stations (rolling carts) lighting and light shaping tools in our 5 bay studio in Aurora, IL.

Excellent video presentation. Recently purchased a " like new " LX-7 and could not be happier. Your video really assisted me in learning all the functions. I have many newer cameras, but like the Panasonic LX-7 more than the others. Great camera. I found your presentation to be very easy to understand. Glad I found you. I have subscribed. Thanks.

It's not just about more to carry and buy, I contacted NISI and asked what ND filter they recommend for my Viltrox 16mm F1.8 on Full Frame and they said to get a 95mm VND with a step up ring to avoid vignette, worth noting for wide lenses. Having a larger filter than the thread size is also good for image quality, especially on wider lenses.
@willcrockett6707
@willcrockett6707 Жыл бұрын
You are absolutely right. We have always suggested for photographers to buy premium filters and the largest size of their entire lens collection. Then simply use step down rings for the smaller diameter lenses in your pack. Thanks for the comment, you are spot on, sir!

I do not know when this post was made but I just bought a Panasonic Lumix G5 and I have a Panasonic G9. I am surprised how good it is even in 2023 and if used in the right way it is still possible to get some lovely photographs from it. It might not have the colour depth, dynamic range and IOS capabilities of a G9 but if one learns the limitations of this camera and uses it in ways that work with those limitations in mind 8 believe that is how to get lovely photographs. I found it very quick to learn the menu system.
@willcrockett6707

Hi Chris, you are so correct. The G5 was way ahead of its time, and the Panasonic engineers poured all kinds of excellent imaging technology into that camera. Of course, it was not a professional camera so we didn’t use it in our client work, but my team and I did enjoy taking it around for travel photos. Glad you like it.

If not what is the best inexpensive lens that I can buy for the camera ? Because I will only be using the camera to vlog on KZbin

My understanding it’s canon flash I don’t think it works well with xt2 but pocket wizards iii should work with any camera I believe.if you have time to share an answer this would be great thank you.

God concise review. BUT please stop the ridiculous Switch to different camera angles….it really is annoying and extremely over done given that you are just reviewing something on KZbin… I just couldn’t ignore it and it actually distracts from listening to the knowledge you have. It is just trying to be too clever for your own good. You have great knowledge….speak well….have passion and then you just annoy with silly camera angle changes.
