How did you get Quake 1 weapon skins?

in the options setting under skins. I have them set to character specific so only certain characters get the quake 1 skins, but you can set it for all of them if you want

Fun Fact: Cirno is canonically one of the weakest companions in the game. Most start at level 20 or higher, she only starts at level 6.

"They look like they have face masks on" They do, they're a type of armor strangely enough. And they have the same scale of modifiers as every other armor, from Cracked Face to Lordly Face.

Need to play defensive against aggressive opponents. You chose to respond to too many engagements buttnaked on stack and arsenal. I don't know how's the map in UT but doesn't seem you collected any armor. The opponent is also a good shot and that's gonna be tough to play regardless of what you do.

If this was first attempt, you're incredibly talented. Prolly took me 4-5 attempts and even then it wasn't very "shinobi like". I just waited him to kick or grab and attacked him. You seem to be doing the same + some very very good (or lucky?) deflections that could've killed you had you missed any of them edit - just read the description lol

By the way, if you want maximum pain after Genichiro, pursue the flower "where the water pools deeply" before the other things you need to get, or go to the place where one "throws themselves" last. I won't say why, but that is the method for maximum pain

Strategy for this miniboss: 1. Keep hitting him until he deflects, then prepare to deflect 2. Press space twice when faced with a sweep attack (you kept dodging). The second press on the spacebar will cause you to kick his head. Don't ignore training with Hanbei the Undying

Formula for humanoid enemies: Attack until you get deflected, then deflect their attack and repeat. Chase if they try to run. Formula for beast-like enemies: Find a cheese strat because nobody likes them.

For the first Chained Ogre, use Gachiin's sugar and crouch, then keep moving along the leftmost side of the stairs leading to it, step behind it, and get a stealth deathblow. You will now have only 1 phase to finish it off.

Ape is honestly fine when you realise you can just deflect everything. Blazing Bull is the same tbh. I still hate the Ogres though and can never reliably deal with the leaping grab. Headless are honestly fine once you stop being freaked out by them. But Shichimen Warriros you basically need to abuse the umbrella, and double ape is some serious bullshit

@@goodguykonrad3701 I hate headless minibosses, headless ape and blazing bull the most. Chained Ogre becomes quite easy when you use oil + flame vent. (his grab attacks have a ridiculous AoE, though)

@@AliKamelAliC Ogre definitely gets made easier with fire (which I will abuse) and his grabs just require really well timed dodges in the right direction, which the rest of the game doesn't spend a lot of time getting you to practice. Things with ape and bull is that you're faster and you can run away to heal easy enough. With bull you can deflect everything I'm pretty sure and it leaves you quite a few opportunities to attack, just mind burn. Ape is something that just needs practice because his combos can come out fast. The main problem with headless is that the terror build up leaves no room for error and it can be really hard to practice. I'd be inclined to tell people to skip them on a first playthrough and tackle them in NG+ where you can buy plenty of confetti more easily. Then just work at them until you're deflecting well and terror doesn't really build up. I always used to panic and try to run away to heal and consume pacifying agents, but to finally get them I realised I had to just keep calm, stand my ground, and focus. They have really telegraphed attacks, you just need to deflect at the right time, and not too early. And just make sure to jump away when they disappear so you don't get your soul ripped out of your ass.

The game has a few skill checks but I agree he serves as the first major one since you need to understand all the games mechanics somewhat to beat him. Also it's pre funny spolier blade so zero cheese is available.

Nah I should've been less careless. Trying to play aggro all the time to test the limit, if you will. And that evening sesh was my first time playing Nyx but the outcome still would've been the same with any champ because the entire pracc I was brainfarting. 😂😂 But yea, NB is gambling with his rockets way too much while trying to zone out opponent which is easily punishable by rails (but in that instance it worked out which is a massive W).

this has to be the most convincing mod to a game i've ever seen. nothing here seemed like a model swap. the voicelines made sense, the character animations made some sense, the background made sense, the fucking winning toast made sense. It was all just destined to happen.
