I’ve come across some lovely caring nurses, but also some absolute horrors😡

Being any type of hospital worker, whether that is a doctor, a nurse, or even a custodian, is a very hard job. I have a lot of friends who have experienced that where patients were rude to nurses and doctors.

I'm a Nurse and have tons of distraught patients going through alot of circumstances in life. Pain, loss of loved ones, lack of family and attention, illness etc..., i just empathize and listen to how they feel and say, I'll see what I'm able to do. If i cannot help i notify the Charge Nurse🥰remember, we all are handling our own battles

Honestly, people are extremely bad to nurses and we absorb alot of negative feelings and bad responses from people. I feel depressed and anxious because of the burden they put on you as a nurse . I feel i have been treated like a maid most of the time.

Offer a warming pad. Or ice packs. But npo is the hardest to help. But just explain and always look pt in the eyes.
